Beautiful room with a private pool overlooking the golf course and sea. Very quiet with beautiful view. Good on site restaurants and lovely village square with great restaurants. Great activities for all the family and fabulous evening entertainment. Great kids club.

We stayed here before and loved the luxurious feel of it but this visit we feel it had lost its sparkle. It was packed with package holiday all inclusive guests. sunbeds were jammed together and difficult to find each day. Staff overall were moody and unhelpful, generally got the feeling they were unhappy. The bath in our room was broke but despite asking for it to be fixed three times no one came to fix it. We accidentally thought check out was at 12 but at 11am two men banged on our door and insisted in waiting til we vacated the room, I was frantic trying to quickly bath my son after the pool and pack as they demanded we leave fast. The property still does provide lots of fun for kids though and there is lots of choice when it comes to deciding where to eat as the village is also a short walk away The rooms are spacious but in need of some love, as are the linens etc

During peak season and school holidays, it is a little more busy at the main pool. I am surprised that you found the team to be moody and unhelpful as we receive nothing but praise for our staff’s customer service. I am sorry to hear you had maintenance issues in your bathroom – I will be sure to investigate this with the team. I am glad you found lots of fun activities for the children and I hope they explored and tried something new. The room was cleaned once every 2 days and was not thoroughly cleaned. The bath tub did not seem to have been cleaned once while we were there and there were remains of buscuits under the sink which were not from our stay! We very much enjoyed the hotel facilities and the various kids areas

Overall disappointing stay - considering the nice reputation of Aphrodite Hills. I was expecting higher standard for a 5 stars hotel. Food was horrible: we simply couldn’t eat the breakfast there and had to go eat somewhere else. The eggs where cold and caoutchouc, ash brown were black (bad oil), scramble eggs was smelling fish, coffee bad... Room were ordinary and small. We stay 3 days, and I have seen the same dead butterfly on the floor of corridor for the 3 days...The smell in the lobby was so strong, we couldn’t sit there. Staff were nice do. We enjoyed the kids park, tennis court... But I wouldn’t recommended if you are looking for a cozy, luxurious 5 stars treatment. Maybe trying to rent a villa in Aphrodite Hills? Definitely, we wont book this hotel again.

A complete letdown, not a 5 star experience
We booked a night at this hotel for my birthday, paying full price, and were left wholly disappointed. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its advertised amenities. Upon arrival we were dismayed to be informed that the majority of the on-site restaurants were closed due to the Christmas period. Had we known this in advance, we would never have booked this hotel. We were also hoping to relax and watch the football at the hotel but the only option was to watch it in our room as the bar was also closed! Later we wanted to use the indoor pool facilities but that closed around 5.30/6pm! We had literally nothing to do in this '5 star' hotel. At dinner we were asked for our room number twice as they could not find the booking and questioned whether we had indeed paid for the room, making us feel uncomfortable in the process. The quality of the food was average at best (some of it was cold) and the choices were minimal. To top this all off we were subjected to birds flying around our table at breakfast despite being seated inside! Not one staff member attempted to clear the breakfast hall of these birds, most found it amusing! A complaint was made upon departure only to be informed that there was no Manager available on New Year’s Eve. We are still waiting for a call back. This hotel was run in a much more professional manner when it was owned by InterContinental Hotels. Since being taking over by Atlantica Hotels, it is evident that its standards have slipped considerably.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your feedback We apologize that not all the restaurants were open during your stay, this is due to low occupancy, however we ensure that there is a varied menu each night to satisfy the guests appetite. We do have a dedicated sports bar in the Village Square, Anoi Pub, that shows all the major football games. Regarding the swimming pool, you are correct, it is not a 24h facility, it is open until 6pm every day due to safety reasons. We apologize that you were asked for your room number at meal times, this is our error. It is with regret that the food was not up to your standard. We ensure to have a Chef present at every meal time who will welcome feedback and suggestions from guests. If you did not find a manager upon your departure to speak to regarding your complaint, we have a full Guest Relations and Front Office team, who would have been happy to sit down with you and go through your concerns.
