It is worth visiting places such as the Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Barbican, and the Czartoryski Princes Museum. The Main Market Square is lively all year round. In summer, you can relax in one of the many outdoor café gardens, while in winter a picturesque Christmas market takes place there. In addition to the Cloth Hall, the Main Market Square features numerous stalls where you can buy local products, souvenirs, and food. Nearby the apartment, there are many attractions worth visiting, such as the STU Theatre, Kijów Cinema, the National Museum, and the Museum of Illusions. Less than 300 meters from the apartment flows the Vistula River. The Vistula River, also known as the queen of Polish rivers, is an integral part of Kraków’s landscape. Flowing through the city for about 7 kilometers, it gives Kraków its unique charm and atmosphere. The Kraków section of the Vistula offers not only picturesque views and a place for relaxation, but is also an important cultural and social element of the city. Along the riverbanks, there are numerous boulevards that invite you for walks and leisure in a natural setting. Various cultural events and outdoor activities are often organized along the boulevards. The river also offers a unique view of Wawel, the royal castle proudly rising on the hill, which is only a 7-minute walk (about 500 meters) from the apartment. It is one of the most important historical sites in Poland and the cultural heart of Kraków. Moreover, the Vistula in Kraków is a place for recreational activities. In the summer season, you can see people kayaking and using other watercraft. Walks along the riverbank and sightseeing boat cruises are also popular, allowing visitors to admire the panorama of Kraków from a different perspective. In the immediate vicinity, you will also find various shops (Żabka, Lewiatan, Biedronka), cafés (Cafe Szafe, Indalo Cafe & Rooms, Dickery Wafflehouse, Massolit Bakery & Cafe, Pianola), the Zaczyn bakery, restaurants (NapNapCafe, Ottamam, Tandoori Flame, Gossip Cafe, Sekret Smaku, Liberty, Golonkarnia, Karczma Smil’y, Bar Mleczny Flisak, Vatti, Vidok), service points, and the Jubilat shopping center.
