Leider hat die Klimaerwärmung den Sand vor unserem Beach Bungalow mitgenommen . Das Hotelpersonal ist wieder dran den Sand mit Sandsäcken aufzufüllen und vor dem Meer zu schützen.

Sehr schöne Anlage in 10 Minuten mit dem Speedboot erreichbar. Positives: hervorragender Service in allen Bereichen (Bar, Rezeption, Restaurant). Yassin war für unser Zimmer zuständig, sehr freundlich und das Zimmer super gereinigt. Essen war abwechslungsreich, für jeden was dabei. All Inclusive lohnt sich, da die Preise recht hoch sind. Die Beachvilla mit eigenem Strand Zugang und Regenwasser-Dusche ist ein Traum. Negatives: Plastik-Liegen am Strand sind sehr unbequem und nicht genug für alle da, wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist. Wasser sollte auch beim Früshtück inclusive sein (erst ab 10:00). Würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Schickes Hotel auf einer wirklich niedlichen Insel. Check - in und check-out haben wirklich super geklappt und wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt. Unser Zimmer wurde jeden Tag sehr ordentlich gereinigt - der Service war wirklich einwandfrei(besonders zu erwähnen). Jedoch waren leider einige Möbel an der Bar Bluu alt und renovierbedürftig. Die Sitzsäcke haben sehr gestunken und die Sitzkissen auf den Stühlen waren fleckig. Des Weiteren war der Service rund um die Bars und dem Restaurant leider eine absolute Frechheit. Bestellungen wurden nicht ausgeführt oder es hat ewig gedauert. Unser Tisch wurde meistens sofort abgeraumt trotz vollen Gläsern auf dem Platz obwohl wir nur das 2te mal am Buffet waren um uns noch etwas zu essen zu holen. Des Weiteren hatten wir all inklusive gebucht und durften immer nur ein Getränk pro Person holen welches teilweise etwas nervig war. Trotz des nicht so überzeugten Services war es ein schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt auf der Insel Malahini Kuda Bandos.

schöne kleine insel, neues resort, kurzer transfer
schöne, kleine Inseln nahe male, die ich schon vor viiiielen jahren als unbewohnt kennenlernen durfte. hatte nur frühstück gebucht, da nach einer Ayurveda kur, das war sehr reichhaltig, vielfältig und von sehr guter Qualität. man sitzt sehr schön im Restaurant direkt am Meer. der einzige wermuthstropfen waren die seit meinem letzten besuch (vor Tsunami und vor nur mehr Luxus) etwas sonderbar gewordenen Touristen: alle in Sandalen oder sonstigen latschen, dabei war das barfussgehen im herrlichen sand den ganzen Urlaub lang immer teil des besonderen Freiheit Flairs auf den malediven. das füsse vom sand abwaschen - es sind überall Vorrichtungen - ist für viele leider ein Fremdwort. wär mir noch egal, wenn sie den sand in ihren eigenen Bungalow schleppen, aber da ich ein zimmer hatte, musste ich den roomboy bitten, gang und treppe mehrmals täglich zu reinigen. was er auch bereitwillig tat. überhaupt sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. tauchen war sehr schön, wenn auch nicht so wie vor el nino und Tsunami. auch hier alle sehr bemüht. jederzeit eine weiterempfehlung !

Landschaft und Wasser sind traumhaft. Alle Serviceleistungen sind überteuert,z.b. 5 min.Transfer im Schnellboot ca 200 USD mit Tax für 2 Personen. Der normale Kaffee schmeckt abscheulich. Der Orangensaft ist gefärbtes Wasser, die Früchte sind ohne Geschmack.Gegen erheblichen Aufpreis ist ein halbwegs erträglicher Kaffee zu erhalten. Das Abendbuffet ( 55 USD) ist leider ungeniessbar, es wird so gut wie nichts maldivisches angeboten.In der Blue Bar ist das Gebotene o.k. allerdings auch überteuert, die wenigen Gerichte hat man schnell alle probiert.Ausflüge zwischen 55 und 110 USD ( ohne Tax und Zuschläge) für 1,5 Std.

The resort is 8 km by sea from Malè, 15 minutes by speedboat. In fact, standing on the beach and looking to the left from the island you can see Malè with its port, merchant ships and its skyline of skyscrapers, it is not a pretty sight and it is not such a remote atoll as it seems from the photos. There are motorboats at sea going to and from Malè to the other atolls, and planes heading for the other islands continually pass overhead. However, it is comfortable, the food is good, and the resort is clean even if a little old and the staff is friendly. On the island there are Carletto (little Charles), Giulietto (little Julius) and Franchino (little Frank), three roosters who crow day and night and night and day. It's like being in a chicken coop. the Resort is a 3 star not 4.

L'isola è molto piccola e la barriera corallina è veramente poca, per non dire che quasi non c'è, a parte qualcosa davanti alla spiaggia principale davanti al bar, dove si trovano gli ombrelloni. La spiaggia è molto grande e bella ma c'è solo in quella zona, non è possibile infatti fare il giro esterno dell'isola perché il mare di lato e dietro ha portato via la spiaggia del tutto. Avevamo la camera garden room n.240 si trovava a 2 minuti poco più dalla spiaggia e dal ristorante, camera carina e abbastanza spaziosa, bagno con doccia grandissima e comoda, soggiorno in pensione completa, tra l'altro preso ad un ottimo prezzo. Menzione merita la cucina, si mangia veramente bene e a sorpresa l'acqua naturale e gassata che fanno loro è gratuita, di solito solo di acqua si spendeva molto in altre isole visitate. Il nostro room boy lasciava molto a desiderare si limitava veramente a tirare solo su' le lenzuola del letto, a differenza di altre isole qui, almeno nella nostra stanza, la pulizia è stata molto molto scarsa. Pesci ci sono ma non tanti come in altre isole, nessuna tartarughe avvistata invece diverse squaletti. La mattina prima delle 7 e 30, va preso il posto in spiaggia o altrimenti si trova tutto occupato dai teli degli altri ospiti. Concludendo mi è piaciuta, non ha una laguna grande e per fortuna non ci sono quegli orrendi water bungalow a deturparla. L'isola tutto sommato merita, era la decima volta alle maldive e ho apprezzato il transfert di solo 10 minuti.

We stayed two weeks in Malahini Kuda Bandos in a Garden Room. The room was nice. The cleaning was ok also, but sometimes we had to ask from the reception for towels etc and the cleaning times were unpredictable. The island is small and closeness to Male is both a good thing (transfer times) and a bad thing (lots of trafic and the view to Hulhumale was not great). The sand on the island has shifted almost totally to the other side of the island where the main beach is located, so some of the pictures I had seen before weren't accurate anymore, but we actually enjoyed the small area near Bar75 more than the big beach. Also the bar was much better than the big bar on the main beach, where the drinks weren't good and service wasn't great either. But in Bar75 Harsha made great drinks and was very nice and provided excellent service. Food in main restaurant was great and the guys working behind the "Live food" counter were always nice and smiling, so were the waiters. We had half board and the drinks, especially a bottle of wine, was really expensive and I felt that the island was more expensive to for example Sun Island Villa Resort, where I've been many times. For the room we got a good deal from Expedia. The weather wasn't great and it was very cloudy and windy almost all the time, so we didn't do any excursions and did very little snorkeling.

Nice resort, big, clean and very comfy rooms. Beach chairs are quite hard, it would be good if they had some cushions. Very convenient to travel from/to Male airport. Buffet food is nice but a bit bland, not much fish or local food. Very good vegetarian options. Beach is ok, water can get a bit murky at times and there are lots of rocks so beach shoes are recommended.

We went as a couple for a couple of days based on the Hotels.com listing that the Hotel had pool and bath tubs for all visitors. Upon arriving, we were informed that there were no public pools or bath tubs and if we wanted one, we have to pay another $250 per night to upgrade the rooms to villa with a pool. Since it is an island you cannot even turn around despite the misleading information on the Hotels.com website.We would have definitely chosen another property had we known that there were no public pools. Having said that, the kitchen chefs were excellent and made special effort to prepare vegetarian meals for us.

Poor service - far from a 5star hotel
The hotel is not a 5 star, except if you are not used to great hotels worldwide. The team lacks training and although most of the employees smile a lot, they have no idea how to speak to customers and have terrible English speaking skills. Several items are similar to a 1 star hotel like used towels being worse than floor cleaning tissues. When changing rooms because of terrible bathroom smell, the porter took one bag and left the room without helping with the other 3 luggages. With no explanation, taxes summed the same amount of the daily rate for the room. Pizza at the only restaurant where you eat A La Carte was like a toast so hard, and when checking out early and leaving the resort late, If you need to take a shower at the changing room for this purpose, you will have to take a cold shower. But the island is beautiful, small, like in a movie. But lacks training and is far from a good service although the receptionists and manager smiles and understand the bad comments.

all staffs are very friendly & attentive, love that vibes. thanks Dr Amir, recept & concierge staffs & Novi, Al Bin, Yam, very hard working staffs. Snorkeling is the best activity, we saw blacktip reef sharks, turtle & many fishes. wave & current is strong. hotel rooms are a bit old but well maintained. 15 min walk can complete a round island. we enjoyed our holiday a lot, it been long await holiday within 2 years covid decade. All inclusive package cost USD 500 per night during 27 to 31 Dec, all good except Beach bar available only beer, no other alcohol beverage. PCR test USD 115, speed boat transfer USD 85. Nature island parrots, birds, bats, beautiful clear water, ocean, white sand, sea, lovely holiday.

The services at Malahini Kuda Bandos was very poor to say the least. There was never enough bath towels in the rooms and you have to continue to call hotel reception for towel change. They rationed water in this island, you have to pay for water once you use up 2 bottles of water in a day. The only thing we liked was the island had a lot of water sports activities so that was nice to see.

Property is a little dated, but overall in good shape. We booked a beach villa for our stay of 8 days. Really enjoyed being able to walk 40 ft to the beach. We did the AI package! I will say the drinks are limited on the All Inclusive, but overall it was still worth it!
