« Property is a beautiful old mansion. It’s in excellent condition. Pam at Reception was outstanding! I strongly recommend avoiding a room on 1st floor. Room was beautiful however so damp that our towels were wet and had to be changed out. Other guests in same floor said they experienced same issue. Also quite a walk into historic district and riverfront. Were walkers so it was fine but if you’re not into walking several miles a day I’d rethink the location. « Perfect for an overnite stay The decor was spot on Never had experienced a heated toilet seat before! Kitchen was bigger than the pictures showed. Quiet area for sure. The only upgrade would be a different bed with king size mattress. Hubs is a big guy that had recent shoulder surger and bad knees. Getting out of bed was an opportunity ( low and not very firm) Everything else, the home made for a perfect overnite stay! »

Check in was super easy and the keypad lock was easy to use.The location was convenient enough to walk to May River for the fireworks display, which turned out to be the quickest way back out.Overall, a very nice place to stay. »
