„The staff here is outstanding! The room was cozy and romantic and the location was perfect!“

„Our stay here was the highlight of a three week vacation in Japan. It is an unique, deep immersion into Japan culture and hospitality while still being comfortable for non-Japanese. The tranquility and quality of the environment, the accommodations, and the food were exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They savored their role as guides into the culture and traditions that they offered. While it was a very traditional experience, the facilities ...

„Courteous and friendly smile all round from the hotel staffs. Discreet and quiet, appropriate to the surrounding neighborhood of Gion.“

„Staff was so helpful! Location was perfect!“

„Sowaka was amazing. Great location, beautiful hotel, incredible food, perfect staff! Do take the 5:45 am tour to Kiyomizu-dera with the incredibly knowledgeable hotel manager. A wonderful and unique experience without all the tourists around.“

„Very nice rooms, good location and great service.“

„Top“

„The Aoi Hotel is located centrally to great restaurants, shopping, local attractions, and beautiful views. I was pleasantly surprised to be far enough from the main hustle and bustle to have peace and quiet, but close enough to walk to enjoy Kyoto.

„This quaint hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and rooms were a good size. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Kyoto. It was a short walk to Nishiki market and had tons of local restaurants near it too.“

„Great spot! Pretty self service for the most part but a great spot right in Gion.“

„Sehr schönes Hotel an bester Lage. Die Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet.“

„Gut: sehr freundliche und bemühte Mitarbeiter, Poolbereich sehr dunkel Nicht so gut: Frühstücksbuffet war unübersichtlich, teilweise sehr voll“

„Frühstück dauerte ungewöhnlich lange bis serviert wurde. 15-20 Minuten.

„Everything was perfect :-)“
