Perfect house on Norris Lake! We had 8 adults and 7 young kids. We had plenty of room for everyone. Everything was just as pictured. The house was perfectly clean and we loved the large dock and decks. The kids loved the dock slide and kayaks. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Beautiful property! We had an amazing week at this house. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make meals at home. Dock was perfect for lounging and kids loved the water slide. Great location to easily boat to popular marinas. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Hosts provided great recommendations and clear instructions for arrival and departure. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time renting this home and we can't wait to go back! The house is extremely comfortable, lots of space and was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Family Retreat

Our week-long family vacation (8 adults/6 children) was fantastic. Mango House was well designed, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially liked the large dock with its water slide. Enjoyed both a pontoon boat rental (Oasis Watersports) and a hot tub (Knoxville Hot Tub Rentals) for the week. Norris Lake is amazing!

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful. Anna was very informative and welcoming. Everything you could have needed to cook for a large family meal was there. The beds were very comfortable, even our 15 year old granddaughter commented on them. The dock was the best dock we have had in 15 years. There was plenty of shade for the littles to enjoy a little pool. Perfect area, we even met the neighbor. Only good things to say.

Family Vacation

We were celebrating a 60th birthday for my husband and a gender reveal for our daughter’s baby. The kitchen was set up for baking and cooking with all kinds of cooking/bake ware equipment. The best home set up that I have stayed in a VRBO! Anna was very easy to connect with during our stay for instructions. The two decks had great views with plenty of sitting spaces for everyone. Games available for after lake activities. This home was so very comfortable.

Beautiful House! Lots of space! GREAT Getaway

we LOVED our stay! the house is beautiful! rooms had plenty or space for us! living rooms and back patio were spacious enough that we did not feel crammed. Kitchen was big and beautiful and well stocked! LOVED the patio!!! it was a bit chilly while we were there but we bundled up and used it anyway because it was so beautiful! The management team was easy to work with! great experience! would happily use this house again! 10/10

Fantastic rental property

Overall we had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful, clean and decorated beautifully for our Christmas stay. We had a large group and the house accommodated everyone perfectly. The host was very friendly and made sure that we made it there safely and back home. The driveway is a little tricky but once you do it, it gets easier. Will definitely rent again.

The perfect spot at Norris Lake

This house is an absolute gem in a perfect spot on Norris Lake. The house itself is beautifully laid out to give all families their own space, beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. The back deck is glorious as is the dock. We enjoyed every minute here and will be back!

Mango Lake House

I've been vacationing at Norris Lake for many years, and this rental was truly one of the best we've experienced. The property was new, impeccably clean, and had a wonderfully homey feel. The furniture, both inside and on the two patios, was comfortable and definitely a step above typical rental quality. I was surprised by how well the internet connection worked (the best I've experienced at a rental on Norris). We enjoyed the ping pong table and games provided, and the fire-pit down by the water was perfect for cozy evenings. The two large patios had amazing views and were ideal for sipping morning coffee and enjoying family dinners in the evening. The dock was a highlight, with its safe/sturdy feeling steps/platform leading to it. We loved that the dock had ample shaded areas as well as sunlit spots for lounging while others were swimming/using the slide. The two boat slips were perfect for our rentals. Anna and Tom, our hosts, were fantastic—always available for any questions we had. We had an amazing trip and can’t wait to book again!

Mango Lake House Week stay June 2024

Wow! What a gorgeous home! This house was perfect for our family of 14. We had plenty of space, where everyone didn’t feel on top of each other. With 2 living areas & 2 large decks,& a huge kitchen w/a large gathering table. The owners have thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked, with all the essentials, plus small appliances that you don’t usually find in rentals. We always had WiFi available for texting & surfing the net. We weren’t always able to make calls but FT worked. The TV’s had great pictures & worked well for movies for the kids. Anna was the best host ever! We had issues with the dock’s power to the slide & lights, but she kept in contact with me everyday. She constantly was updating me as to the progress on trying to fix it. Although it never got totally resolved, the kids were able to enjoy the slide, while it was working. We spent the majority of our days out on our boat, so it worked out. The only 3 things I would not give this home a 5 star on, so I am giving these a 4 were 1) the dock electric issues (everything else about the dock was fantastic) and I am sure they will get it fixed. 2) the driveway. And yes Anna did warn us b4 we arrived,be careful, it’s crazy steep! It was just a little too nerve wracking for some of us scary cats. And #3) the beds. They were nice, but they were too “firm” for some of us. So I would bring my mattress pad if you prefer a softer bed. II would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return!

FANTASTIC!!

Booking the Mango Lake House was such a wonderful decision for our family of 13! The house was a dream! The view, even better! The location of the house was perfect for visiting Marinas from the water on boat such as Whitman Hollow, Sequoya Marina and, Stardust Marina! We will absolutely be booking again for next year! Happiness on Norris Lake!

OK…our stay at Mango House surpassed our expectations! It’s a new home on a great part of the lake. Perfectly outfitted with every thing you need. Kitchen is sussed out if you cook. We cooked every night and ate on the upper deck every night (perfect time of year for that). Anna provided lots of info ahead and checked in as soon as we arrived. It was a reunion of four couples and there were lots of places to hang out, two decks, the fire pit down below and a beautiful dock. Home run!

Amazing property!

Our trip to the property was fantastic. The house itself is awesome and ideal for a multiple families and there’s plenty of amenities so that you only have to bring yourself! The kitchen was the best stocked of any rental I’ve ever stayed at. The views were awesome and it was a great place to relax. The hosts here in my opinion really set this place apart. Anna and Tom were so communicative and so helpful leading up to our stay, I can’t compliment them enough. From easy to follow directions to a guide on local attractions, (even a drawing on how to navigate the driveway), it felt like we were staying a friend’s house. I highly recommend this place and these hosts!

Our new favorite place to stay

For the first time in 8 years coming to Norris, we are rebooking a property for our next stay! The home is gorgeous - brand new, incredible floor plan, beautifully decorated and fully furnished with everything we needed. The host, Anna, was proactively attentive, ensuring we had what we needed and were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was phenomenal. No cell service (AT&T at least) but was able to take video calls and watch streaming services. The dock was wonderful - covered with two open slips, a wide opening in each and guards in place to prevent any boat scratching from passing wake. Overall, a great experience that we will happily enjoy again next year.

Boat loads of fun!

Beautiful home, amazing views and property owner could not be more pleasant to work with. We visited with multiple families with teens. Everyone had great days swimming off the dock and enjoying our pontoon rental. Evenings were cooking big family meals in the kitchen that had everything you could need and enjoying the many games at the house… corn hole, ping pong, scrabble, etc. We will for sure be back the first chance we get.

Our 2 families loved staying at Mango Lake house. Awesome location (close to the highway!), everything seemed brand new, and the dock was amazing. We had a major thunderstorm while we were there and the dock kept us dry. Anna was an excellent host to us. We can’t wait to stay there again!

This house is just beautiful! SO much space to enjoy & spread out. Our Best Lake Vacation Ever!

Our stay at the Mango Lake House was exceptional in every way. The house has spectacular views, high end finishes and many extras. Extras include a Keurig, ping pong table, corn hole boards, and family games. Everyone enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck playing Scrabble in the evenings. The internet access is the best we have ever had at Norris Lake. The dock is large with both covered and uncovered spaces. The kids loved the slide. The location on the lake is perfect for tubing, skiing and wakeboarding. Anna is an attentive and gracious host. The few small issues were resolved promptly and professionally. Overall, it was our best lake vacation ever! In the future, this will be our "go to" house at Norris Lake.

An Absolute Dream

There were 4 families that stayed here for 5 nights and we could not have found for a better house. I have rented many VRBOs and this is the first one that has felt like a home and not just a vacation rental. There were conveniences sprinkled throughout the house that are not typical such as sound machines and a multi-station charger. The deck slide and dock was absolutely amazing. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Anna was quick to respond and so kind to work with. We had a minor issue and it was resolved in less than 24 hours. Now we just need to figure out when we can return as I think this is now one of our top vacation destinations.

The Absolute Best of Lake Norris

I have a core group of family and friends that have shared a rental property on Lake Norris the past 4 years and we all agree this to be the best location, property and overall service of any that we've stayed. The home offers the perfect floor plan with ample room for many guests, two fridge/freezers, a wine chiller, grill, well appointed kitchen, and two expansive patios offering some of the best views of the lake. Stepping a few short stairs down to the dock (maybe 60 steps), you have access to two oversized covered boat slips which comfortably fit my 28 foot boat and had more than enough height to where I didn't have to put down my ski tower. Slips this size are hard to come by and many times don't exist at some marinas. Making the dock even better is the owner's recent addition of the slide (and water pump on the slide) which kept the kids happy while we floated in the water. The home is situated right at the start of a cove and therefore has easy access to the lake without having to go through a 15 minute no wake zone, perfect for those looking to get on the water quickly. Its central location also provides easy access to multiple marinas including Indian River, Whitman Hollow, Norris Dam, Twin Cove, Sequoyah, Stardust and Shanghai. Above all, I can't express enough the overall generosity and quality of communication from the owner. She made every effort to make our stay better. Going forward, I won't hesitate to make this place my first choice on Norris!
