I cannot say enough good things about this property and its hosts. We were a group of adult friends going for my birthday and the layout of the house was like we each had our own apartments and space inside the same house. Such a fun unique setup! There was a little sloth sanctuary outside by the kitchen patio for early mornings and private jungle walking trail. So many beautiful birds, flowers, plants and the largest bamboo I’d ever seen all onsite. We were slightly worried before our stay about the safety of staying out in the jungle, but this place could not have felt more safe. The owner owns all the surrounding land, with a couple more rental units and their parents close enough by we could see it and walk there each, but all far enough and facing different ways that everything was still very private. And it was actually wonderful to have them closer by. One morning they even made us a lovely homemade breakfast with organic ingredients at their house along the water. It was my birthday and they made me feel so special! When we went for breakfast the father played guitar and they all sang me happy birthday, they got me an amazing birthday cake that was so delicious and one time I had to run over and borrow some butter in the middle of my own breakfast making and they were always just so kind and so welcoming. It was a truly magical stay with the kindest and most considerate owners ever! We absolutely loved it and would totally go back!!
