This was my first time ever trying out a stay here at the Heritage Inn La Mesa. It was a fair value at the time and decided to try it out.
What you first realize when you arrive here is that it won’t be so quiet of a stay seeing that you are situated so close to a freeway. The staff is really friendly and accommodating to your needs. So after checking in, I made a beeline to my room, only to notice that the door key was having some difficulty letting me in. After a moment, the key finally worked and it allowed me into a somewhat musky room. Turning on the A/C quickly and letting it run a bit solved that problem. After unpacking and taking my shoes off, I noticed that the carpet floor felt a bit sticky. Glad I brought some sandals. Now that I’ve had some time to settle in, it was time for me to take a shower. The water pressure was decent, but the water temperature wasn’t constant. It went from being just right, to getting a bit cold, then a little hot.
Now I do realize that this is my first time there, because it’s not really a bad place to be. You have some places to eat within walking distance and other decent restaurants within a few minutes by car. But I do hope that the next time I decide to go there, that some of my experiences would be addressed.
I hope you found this helpful.
