„Real easy freindly check in. Rooms are clean and adequately appointed. It was a spacious double room, with generous size bathroom with bath tub. Its nice to have iron, ironing board, trouser press, hairdryer and fan. Unfortunately the pillows are a bit inadequate. Provided with 3 very flat, very warn pillows for a double room for two people. „We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. “

„Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Peter empfangen. Unser Zimmer war in einem separaten Gebäude, nett gemacht, groß und sauber. Der Hauseigene Garten ist eine Wohlfühloase. Morgens bekamen wir ein tolles Frühstück nach Wunsch serviert. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es ausreichend. Und wer sich in dieses Örtchen verirrt, hat es zu Alton Towers nicht weit. „Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. “

„We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever.  ...
