« House Olympia is an absolute gem of a home on a hill overlooking some spectacular views of the area. It is very close to Ancient Olympia, but even if you just want a nice place to enjoy rural Greece, House Olympia is a perfect spot. There is a full kitchen, very comfortable bed, very comfortable living room and formal dining area in addition to the kitchen breakfast area. Aggeliki is a warm and lovely host and a font of information about Ancient Olympia and the area. I cannot recommend this...
« Great place with amazing views! Elena, the owner, was lovely but doesn't speak English. We managed with a few words each, a bit of sign language and a lot of Google translate. Rooms are perhaps unusual in decor but very comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast - particularly good omelette cooked freshly by Elena. Good tavernas within walking distance. Fabulous walking with the menalon trail. Very quiet and peaceful. And did I mention the views! »
« Wonderful, authentic property in a real Greek mountain village - like being in a fairy tale! Short, lovely walk to the few shops and tavernas. No A/C, but don't need it with cool mountain temps, even in the middle of August! Host Olga is super cool and helpful. We're coming back!. »
