The beauty of the inside of the condo along with the view from the lanai made our trip so special. Watching the whales jump and sea turtles swim from our condo was a gift. We loved our stay!

Host was welcoming (and patient) when I had difficulty finding my unit after dark. She even came over and carried a bag up for me before explaining the amenities to me. They thought of everything in furnishing the place and I loved it!

Appealing in Napili :)

A gorgeously decorated condo in a perfect area: very near Napili Bay, but not in the epicenter, so to speak. It was quiet except for the dramatic roar of the ocean.

Perfect for turtle and whale watching

Had a lovely stay here. Cute and cozy, with an amazing view. it's located right on a very infrequented section of the ocean that's shallow and perfect for turtle frolicking.Close to the outstanding Miso Phat for sushi, Hawaiian Village Coffee for coffee and great handheld breakfast, and a couple miles from the amazing breakfast spot, The Gazebo.The ocean sings you to sleep, and the place is decorated and provisioned wonderfully.Highly recommended!

Amazing Stay in West Maui!

We had a fantastic stay! The unit is exactly as pictured and described, and it is stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable for a few days. The lanai is just to die for! We spent so much time there having coffee, reading, or eating takeout while watching the turtles, surfers, and even whales. There are a few restaurants, cafes, and a beach within walking distance, and tons more within a short drive. One of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in!

Beautiful Condo!

My husband and I came to Maui to celebrate my birthday. We were soooo pleased when we opened the door to this thoughtful vacation home. It is so cozy and the décor is just adorable and perfect for the setting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was fully stocked, beach accessories were available as well. The best was the view from the lanai, and we loved sitting on the daybed on the lanai also, it was perfect for a little getaway. Minor issues, ants were coming from a small gap in the wall by the sink, they were attracted to the fresh flower by the sink. They were not a nuisance, once we removed the flower to outside they slowly went away. But this would need to be addressed as people of course will eat in there, to prevent them from coming back. Also, HIGHLY suggest a detachable showerhead instead of just the waterfall option to ensure a super clean body after a day at the beach lol. Lastly, everything was clean, maybe I have OCD, but it could've used a bit more cleaning for the floors. Nothing that would prevent me from coming back. If my husband and I visit Maui again, we would definitely stay there.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and more. It was so cute inside and had a great lanai outside. We even saw turtles while eating our lunch one day. Great location too. Close to lots of things. It made our trip to Maui great!

Whale watching in the comfort of 'home'

Have been remiss in sharing our awesome stay last February. The studio was fully stocked with many little thoughtful touches. The Hideaway team even purchased a tea pitcher before we arrived when I had asked if they had one. But by far, the best was the amazing lanai with the expansive ocean views. We spent many hours there and saw some incredible whale activity without going anywhere. And of course, lots of turtles. It was very hard to break away!

Such a lovely stay for our honeymoon.

We loved staying at this property, it had so much charm. It was our first stop on our trip to Hawaii and there were incredible views everywhere. My husband and I enjoyed whale watching and walking to see all the views nearby. Would highly recommend!

This beautiful hideaway was just as advertised. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. I especially loved how close we were to the ocean. We saw a whale from our balcony when we first arrived. The best part was that we saw sea turtles every afternoon from our balcony and in front of our unit. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The Most Incredible Stay - Hawaiin Elopement

I cannot express how amazing our experience was at the Hula Hideaway property. My Fiance and I rented this VRBO for our elopement/honeymoon and everything was beyond perfect. The property itself was updated, clean, and had everything we needed for our week long stay! We bought things like toilet paper and paper towels before we checked in, but didn't end up needing them. The property owner made us feel so welcome and helped us when we couldn't find the parking space upon arrival. They were so attentive and kind. We saw multiple whales and sea turtles from the Lanai (which will be one of my favorite memories from the trip). If you're considering staying here, I can't recommend this property enough. Make sure you check out their very detailed and helpful welcome packet for restaurant recommendations and useful tips! Thank you for making our Hawaiin Elopement absolutely incredible. We can't wait to come back for as many anniversaries as we can!

Didn’t want to leave

This place was amazing! The inside was decorated beautifully and felt cozy. We however spent as much time as possible out on the lanai watching for whales and turtles. It was so close to the ocean we sometimes got splashed by the waves! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we are back in Maui.

Babymoon Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed for 5 nights and spent a lot of our time at the property! You can see so many whales, Lana’i, Moloka’i, and beautiful sunsets from the deck. It had everything we needed to make a simple dinner and some breakfast. The location was perfect for being close to lots of things on the island and within walking distance of some beaches. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we will be back!

Great Anniversary Weekend!

We stayed for two nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The view from the bed and from the lanai were gorgeous. We had many whale sightings from the unit. The only thing we regretted about our stay was that it wasn't long enough! We were out and about on excursions and dining for much of our trip, so we didn't get to fully enjoy all of the tranquility that the condo had to offer. Would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be black-out curtains on the windows facing the street. The lights in the hall and from the street are bright, which did not bother me so much, but my husband who likes a very dark space did find that to be bothersome.

Loved the lanai!

This was a great place for a couple! Very comfortable bed, nicely appointed and furnished, and the lanai was an awesome place to lounge, eat meals, and watch whales, turtles and windsurfers. We loved our stay! My only criticism would be low water pressure in the shower.

Magical views and beautiful studio rental

Let me begin by saying Jill was great with prompt responses and quick action/communication. This rental is dreamy. Located near other resorts and rental properties, this place is very well decorated and many amenities including binoculars, usb charger, tons of plug outlets for devices. The binoculars are for watching the whales from the Lanai. The lanai is spectacular and so is the day bed. I found myself sleeping there listening to waves crash against the seawall right in front of it. I caught some little turtles floating near the waves/water closest to the shore. It was such a nice and intimate place, we didn’t want to leave. Some stores, bars, gas station within walking distance. The beaches are a short drive from here as you don’t really have any beach area behind the property to hang out on. There is a picnic table, grill and a couple recliner lawn chairs in the back by the seawall. There is also a good sized pool across the street behind the main building. I highly recommend for any one single or with a partner to try this gem of a place in Kahana very close to Lahaina.

Great location! Right on the water!

We had a wonderful week long stay. It is the perfect size for a couple. Everything we needed in one place. Especially the breathtaking sunset views. We also really enjoyed watching the kite surfers from the deck. Very quiet area and nice to have restaurants within walking distance. I can't wait to go back. Mahalo!
