A Gorgeous & Sunlit Lake Georgetown Retreat If you’re looking for a beautiful, hassle-free place to stay near Lake Georgetown, this is it! The unit is gorgeous, wonderfully spacious, and flooded with natural light. Having plenty of bathrooms made it effortless for everyone in our group.The only tiny issue was that a previous coffee was left in the microwave and a half-drank Pepsi was left in the refrigerator. Other than that small cleaning oversight, everything about our stay was smooth, comfortable, and truly fantastic. Thank you for hosting us—we’d love to come back!

Overall our stay was great. There were a couple of things we brought up and they were being addressed. Loved the kitchen appliances. Lake George has fireworks every Thursday in the summer and you could see the higher ones from the condo (fyi for those of you who might not want to venture out to see them) we had some of our party stay at the condo and others who walked to the water to view them (by the way they are amazing) the walk was pretty short and enjoyable but there is a bit of a hill walking back that could be challenging for those who may not be able to walk well. For those accustomed to walking you could even walk into town and enjoy all it has to offer (one of our party did). This place has beautiful windows that cover one wall, the only thing we had wished is that the top windows had shades. If you’re on the top floor doing anything (and there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom there) your neighbors can see everything you’re doing. Also a full length mirror would be nice. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we had fun imagining how we would decorate the front room…I said a library but my 12 year old niece did not agree and said she would just hang a painting by Van Gogh of his “The Starry Night” :) ( yes, we have a genius on our hands :)) I wish all of you staying here have as much fun as we did!

Overall we enjoyed our experience at the town house. The place was very clean and as advertised. Two things that we wished could have been improved were the communication with Vacasa. Where we arrived we got a wonderful card thanking us for our stay and directing us to a binder full of important information on our stay. We looked everywhere and did not find a binder and when we called Vacasa they were not very helpful. It’s a minor thing because we were familiar with the location. The second was the unit we rented had a Kuerig machine that didn’t work and we bought coffee me specifically for it when we saw it in the unit. But again these little setbacks did not take away from the wonderful experience we had. Everything else was fantastic and we’d highly recommend to others. We will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay in Lake George! The location was great—convenient to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the property was, which made traveling with our dog so easy and enjoyable. The host was also very responsive and communicative throughout our stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great experience, and we would happily stay here again!
