Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times.“

„Have you ever booked a place, driven 5 hours, and then arrived to find out it wasn't as pictures showed. The minute I pulled up for my week long solitude retreat this place felt like home. I brought my inflatable kayak, a bunch of books & art supplies, and comfort food.....and it was a great way to just chill. Decided to venture out to Brule River for some hiking and kayaking adventures, and did not dissappoint! Great location, Great Spot, and perfect for a solo getaway.“

„Very secluded and private. The cabin is fully supplied, with multiple sleeping areas. Loved the deck. With the cabin came the use of a pontoon, kayak, canoe and paddle boat. Abundant wildlife. I taught my grandson to fish! And the loons calling on the lake were mesmerizing.“

„The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location“

„We really enjoyed our cabin that is off the beaten path. Very secluded and peaceful. We visited the Apostle Islands, did some cave kayaking and toured North Shore all the way up to Tettegouche State Park. We couldn't enjoy a campfire due to the takeover by mosquitoes and ticks but they are always nasty in the spring and it has been wetter than normal.“

„It was so Beautiful and Quiet! Our cabin was clean and had all the necessities. We toured the area, saw 9 waterfalls, 2 state parks, 2 beaches, Lake Superior and a Pow Wow! Made a bunch of great memories! Having fires in the fire pit was definitely a highlight! Thank you very much for your hospitality!“

„We loved the property! The upper level was amazing for dining and hanging out. We spent lots of time on the beautiful deck and we used the awning. The pontoon was a huge hit and we fished and swam off the dock. We only used one of the fire pits, but really enjoyed it. The bunk house was used by two of us and was a lovely addition. The basement bedrooms were beautiful and all the beds were great! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. I will be booking this property again!“
