Throwback to May, 2014 when stopped at the Palmer River in northern Queensland. The Palmer River lies almost directly west and inland to Cape Tribulation. The river flooded in the aftermath of a severe cyclone in late March. Water flowed over the bridge and debris was visible the bridge and along the river banks. One can stay overnight at the Palmer River Roadhouse and there is a range of accomodation available to suit most travellers. An interesting place to stop for an hour or longer!

Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir habe bei unserer Ankunft gleich ein paar Tips fürs Sightseeing bekommen. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, jedoch, wie bei den meisten Motels, mit ein bisschen Sanierungsstaus. Leider war der Pool bei unserem Aufenthalt wegen Renovierungsarbeiten gesperrt. ...
