We never met The receptionist, there was a note posted on the door with our directions and our information telling us to go inside and it would be open… and it was. This is an adorable little getaway. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to break away from mainstream motels.. The room was clean. The property was immaculate…. Remind you of the early 1950’s, but well maintained… they even had a little table and two chairs ...

„Check in was friendly and easy. There’s only two floors and access is on the outside which was easier to bring luggage in. The breakfast bar wasn’t hot but provided great options to either grab and go or eat in the dining area. Ice and laundry facilities were clean and working. The room was clean and perfect for my stay!“

„The bathroom is charmingly outdated. The rest of the room is just outdated. But, super clean, super quiet, and good location. The price cannot be beat and although the bed was super firm, I slept like a rock.“

„You get what you pay for. This is a cheap hotel. It's not great, not terrible, just meh. But since you're not paying a premium price, it's acceptable. The rooms appear to be updated recently, but the building/AC units are still pretty old.“

„Its close to Kentucky Lake, where we fished all day and were very tired. We stayed here before the final leg of our journey. I slept great and was ready to hit the road early. They supplied a hearty breakfast, so we didnt have to stop til our lunchbreak in the afternoon. Definitely will stay here again.“

They had it fixed on our third and last night there. I was charged an extra $50 for "incidentals and was assured that I would get it back after they checked and cleaned my room. „The manager is very nice, helpful and pleasant. However, he needs to check housekeeping as our room was messy and dirty. I would stay there again as most everything else was great but I would come prepared to clean. One more thing, there is no protein avaliable at the free breakfast except for a small packet of peanut butter.“

„Our stay was ok and the staff was friendly! Do have a complaint about a loud noise in our room all night! It was not the air conditioning system. We turned it off and it was still very loud! We stayed on the fourth floor in room 413. Sounded like a train was going by our window all night long! Incredibly loud and felt like it was almost rattling our floor! „When I checked in the teller was outside the front door, feeding five feral cats, milk and cereal blocking the door. She was annoyed. I was there wouldn’t even consider a late checkout was unkempt. The hotel was a mess. I tried getting a room at a different hotel, but the whole area was booked and had to suffer through it. The workout room was out of order. The pool was locked. There was garbage and trash and feral cats all over the property. It was horrible.“
