House was beautiful and great location by the lake, we also had plenty of parking for all of our trucks with trailers for the UTV's. The neighborhood was amazing and so welcoming! Great gameroom with plenty of TV's to also watch football. Great riding and close to town if anything was needed for purchase for groceries or beverages.

This place is fantastic! Jeff and Julie were excellent hosts, checking in at times to make sure everything was going well and very quick to respond if we had any questions. This place is primed for multiple families or a large group of friends to get together and make some great memories, which is what we did with our family. Even in colder weather, we were able to enjoy the games downstairs and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The lake was beautiful, and the proximity to the park across the street was excellent for the kids. The property was extremely clean (rated cleanliness 4 stars because one of the bathtubs had a drain clog, otherwise no concerns at all) and very well-stocked (dishes, towels, soap, shampoo, laundry, etc) for all of our needs. The wi-fi worked great and Direct TV allowed us to watch the Packers win! We really enjoyed our time here and hope come back again during warmer weather to spend some time in the lake!

We had a fantastic time at this VRBO. The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen had many pans, spices, silverware, etc. There are many games in the basement in case it’s a rainy day. We enjoyed our private beach with the kayaks, paddleboards, and outdoor games. We at one point had 13 people staying there, and comfortably. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!!

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The lake water is clear and lovely to swim in. The vibes are high in this little area. The swimming area next door is hoppin and offers some swimming rafts. We will definitely be back!

The Perfect Pick!

As soon as we arrived at this rental home, we knew we made the right choice. We had five households come together with a handful of tweens & teens. Our favorite parts the house offers is the wrap around porch, and of course the sandy beach and fire pit. The neighborhood was terrific, and we enjoyed having the public park and beach next door for additional activities. The kids loved the Community Center nearby. And everyone loved having dinner at Water's Edge in Crandon to watch the waterskiing show in the summer. Thank you!

Great Lake Property

We loved the location of the property. We had access to the lake right across the street. The kids loved playing in the water and relaxing on the sand. The house was big enough to hold our group. The only thing that was disappointing was that when we first got there, it was not the cleanest. We found cleaning supplies and cleaned the showers ourselves since they were kinda gross. Previous people thay stayed there left some shower stuff so we put that on top of the fridge. The towels were still in the dryer running but not a big deal to take them out and fold them up. The neighbor had mentioned the cleaning people were very late so that explains the state of the house. Other then that we had a great time.

Perfect Beach Cottage

We purposely searched for a cottage with a nice beach, that would accommodate our extended family of three generations. The grandkids ranged from newborn to 6 years old. We loved this cottages beach area, and spent hours every day enjoying it! Fishing, swimming, paddle boating, and the standup paddle board was a lot of fun also. The cottage had plenty of space to accommodate bedrooms for the various families, playing phase 10 and dominoes around the table at night, and having Ms Pac-Man competitions on the arcade game. There was always something for everyone to do, or space to go and relax too. We had a great week!

Fall Getaway

Took family here for fall getaway and greatly enjoyed our time, as well as, enjoying the cabin and property. The private beach was a hit for our 7 year old son along with the games in basement. Silver lake is a nice clean lake and the neighborhood is well maintained.

Family Vacation

The property was beautiful. Plenty of room both outside & inside for our family of 10 to enjoy! Jeff & Julie provide tons of games, floaties... down at the lake!! The house is beautiful & very clean!! Our family enjoyed the golf course, downstairs game room, firepit & even rented a pontoon that we used everyday!!! Large family with tons of kids

With a large group of 16 comprising mostly of kids, Golf Shores was a perfect fit. The sandy beach with the adjacent public beach and playground couldn’t be beat. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The lake is beautiful and we were frequently the only boat out. The house has multiple levels and plenty of beds to accommodate nap time. The owners were very communicative and even reached out on a rainy day to tell us of some places we could take the kids. We stay at a different VRBO every year but we booked Golf Shores right away for next year. The road between the house and the lake wasn’t an issue as there are infrequent cars and they go slow. The owners have nailed this VRBO! Don’t forget your golf clubs!

Wonderful family getaway!

What a wonderful week celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary! Our group consisted of 8 adults and 7 children ranging in age from 9 - 18 and there was something for everyone. The lake access was phenomenal. Private sandy beach with kayaks, canoe, and plenty of fun floaties and toys. The kids swam extensively every day. The fishing was wonderful too. Everyone had multiple catches. The spacious cabin was perfect for everyone to sleep, spread out, play games, prepare meals. We loved being by the park for basketball, volleyball, and it also had a really nice beach and swim platforms. We also utilized the golf course multiple times. It’s only a buck a hole on Wednesdays! The cabin was clean and was stocked with everything you need! We would definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone interested! Thanks Jeff and Julie for being wonderful hosts!

Return trip to Golf Shores Laona

2nd visit here with family ranging from grandparents to young grandsons. Lots of relaxing at the house lakefront, playing on the adjacent public park, fishing off the dock, kayaking, daytime campfire, etc. The house is well furnished and big enough to find a quiet spot when needed. Will definitely consider a return trip.

Ice fishing trip

A group of 6 spent 8 nights on an ice fishing trip. Jeff was great keeping us informed on ice conditions prior to trip. House was very comfortable after long days on the ice. Would have been awesome if there was snow due to the proximity of the house and trails. Would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent choice.

This a beautiful cabin, clean, comfortable and well appointed with all the essentials. It’s located in a quiet area with a golf course out back and lake views out front. There is plenty of room to spread out, relax and have fun in the game room down stairs. We played a lot of cards, board games, dice and loved the electronic game table. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. This was our annual snowmobile trip but all the trails were closed due to the lack of snow. I highly recommend the Potawatomi Community Center where we played pickleball, basketball, threw the football around and used the golf simulator. This facility is awesome, loaded with lots of things to do including swimming and a rock climbing wall. We had a very good fish fry at JARS, and a very good dinner at the supper club Waters Edge. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home!

Wonderful winter retreat.

This was our 23rd annual winter retreat with four families. The property was perfect for our crew with plenty of room for 16. The kids loved the basement/game room area as did the adults. Jeff and Julie were quick to respond to emails or texts and made us feel at home in their beautiful property. They even had darts delivered to the house when we were there which the boys really appreciated. Lake access was a breeze with atv’s or snowmobiles and the fishing was decent. We highly recommend the property and hope to return again. Thanks!

Comfy and cozy!

Our family truly enjoyed staying here during Thanksgiving. The kitchen supplied everything we needed to prep a proper meal, the fireplace kept us comfy and warm. Deer Camp

A few friends but mostly brother in laws from Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin got together for fun and hunting. Hunting was not that much fun but the weather and the house was absolutely beautiful.
