We had a nice and spacious room with city view. It was clean and the noise level was low. Gym was nice and well-equipped.
Pool area was nice and relatively big but cramped, additional pools were reservation-only (at a whooping price tag!). Families should note that there is practically no shade at the kids pool, except if you reserve a cabana at extra cost! Also, contrary to the photos on Hotels.com, there are no longer any small parasols available for use by customers, only about a dozen floor-mounted wide-area parasols that can only be managed by staff. During our stay only 2 of the parasols were functional and there seemed to be no attempt to fix the others!
Our main issue was the hotel concept: Firstly, the non-optional(!) resort fee of $51/day to be able to use basic services like WiFi, phone, gym, and pool access, may be standard in Las Vegas, but it’s just a customer-hostile way to artificially lower the room prices.
Secondly, every service is externalized. For room service, you had to use Grubhub to order from the on-site restaurants. Also, when trying to call hotel staff, you had to fight with an unhelpful robot operator to connect you.
Non-valet parking is a bit away on the other side of the resort and they don‘t let you unload luggage at the hotel entrance, so be prepared to walk 5-10 min with all your stuff through the heat and Casino floor.
Overall, the hotel is nice but budget extra money for anything more than sleeping in your room!
