« Pros: Good location. The balcony has good views of mountain, river, and cable car. The Grindelwald Grud is walkable, about 10 mins and the Grindelwald Terminal is about 13 mins on foot. Grindelwald Terminal has many shops, including coop (grocery store) and Lindt chocolate. The apartment doesn't have A/C or standing fans, but if you keep the windows open, you get nice freeze. « This place was so peaceful and amazing! Easy check in at the train station when you arrive, and about a 10 min walk mostly downhill (so uphill on the way back). The most beautiful views of Lauterbrunnen valley. Lovely porch to sit out on, comfy couches, stocked kitchen, washer dryer in unit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! »

« Our first time in Grindelwald and it was incredible! The place is beautiful and well appointed. It is located very centrally to the best part of the village, and a short 20 min walk to either the terminal for Jungfrau or 20 mins the other way to the lift for Grindelwald First. « Overall had a fantastic stay. Location was second to none: on the lake, short drive from hikes, Interlaken, etc. Excellent communication with hosts. Only down side was the heat. 28C days with sun coming through the (lovely) patio windows turns the place into a sauna. The poor tiny air conditioner couldn't keep up and we couldn't close the patio blinds for 'safety reasons'. Loft far to hot to sleep so had to sleep on the couch.
