Hotel Laughlintown

« When we arrived we couldn’t get down the road.It was blocked by about 25 cars.The campground rented the picnic area out and the people had nowhere to park so they just decided to park in the road and then everyone else’s camp spots.It took 50 minutes to get everyone to move.They had other campers blocked in also. Kids were running around the campground, throwing water, balloons, trash in the Place playing in the bathrooms running through our camping area squirting everybody with water guns.. »

« Probablement le plus beau Holiday Inn ou j'ai couché depuis des années. Propre, accueillant, personnel très sympathique. Restaurant déjeuner sur place excellent. Situé en plein centre-ville, stationnement sur place facile et sécuritaire. »

« The building is a bit run down and 1/2 is boarded up . The exercise room was unavailable. But the rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable. There are steps in the dining area that are marked or even very noticeable and I witnessed a guest fall down them with breakfast in his hands. The staff was helpful but there should be colored tape or signage stating caution. »

« Je n'attendais pas grand chose de cet établissement à part un lieu simple et propre pour faire étape. J'ai découvert une chambre au charme désuet (passons), à la moquette crasseuse et baignée par une forte odeur de renfermé et tabac froid. La climatisation était assourdissante et il a fallu l'éteindre pour fermer l'oeil. Mais le comble fut de découvrir après une mauvaise nuit que j'avais été piquée par des punaises de lit, avec une belle allergie en prime. La médiocrité du petit-déjeuner...

« Pour une nuit, pourquoi pas! Chambre de base, confortable. Vieux mobilier, mais propre. Nous avons manqué le déjeuner, mais il était offert sur une tablette de 4 pieds de large. Il était sûrement assez rudimentaire. »

« The rooms are dank/humid. The walls are thin- you could hear coughing from the next room/people talking and people walking throughout the night/closing doors. Couldn’t get a good nights sleep. The breakfast was pretty good though. »
