My room was in the annex building. The building is run down and in need of updating and maintenance. The stay was loud, especially at night with other guests running around, talking loudly outside, etc. The carpet was dirty with the edges and corners having visible dirt. The faucet leaked badly and the counter was always wet. The phone did not work so I could not call the front desk easily.

The pictures of the room at renting look nice and clean. The actual room that was assigned to us was not good. The smell was awful and the restroom was leaking water everywhere due to shower curtain hanger being loose. Toilet tissue was water and water all over the floor. I di not ask for a different room because i spent most of my ti.e outside and only dropped in to take a nap. Rent somewhere else.

I stayed at the Quality Inn Suites this weekend 4/27-4/28 and had a terrible experience. The sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain, the outlets didn’t work, the door didn’t close, there’s no central light and the employees were not accommodating for the fact that it was pouring when we checked in and put us in the complete opposite facility outside.

Stayed in several rooms as a group. One room didn't have a knob on the inside of the door and had to use something to pry the door open to get out. Another room had no hot water ever, another had no water pressure. One room had mold behind the dresser and now 4 people are sick. Was told the hot tub was out of service because someone puked in it and they weren't cleaning it yet, were there for 3 days and they never cleaned it. None of the vending machines worked. Will not stay again.

We were given a room which had an animal smell at first. We were given a different room. At midnight, someone tried to enter our room with a card key. The only thing to stop this was the top bolt. As I tried to get a coffee in the morning, I was told by the desk clerk to get out and howrude I was after the breakfast manager told me it was ok. We will not be back to the hotel. One of the worst nights spent in a hotel!

The front staff was rude. He answered the phone while I was standing there and said he was busy and hung up the phone. I asked for pool towels. I was handed 5, then asked to put them in the pool area for the employee. My room was outside the main building, you had only stair access to get in the room. We paid for a hotel room, not a motel room. The hotub was drained and out of service. The carpet was dirty and worn in the halls. The sink in our room would give you a small stream of water. I was so unhappy with the entire experience that I checked out at 7 am the next morning. I booked a room at a different hotel and had great service in Lawrence KS. I asked for a refund on our second night stay at the Quality Inn. There was no manager to speak with. I hope I am given my refund for the second night.

This property looks nothing like the pictures on the website. It's more like a motel than a hotel. We were assigned an exterior room and when we went to find it, the door was opened (at 2 am), not unlocked, but OPENED! I didn't even have to use the handle but just gently pushed it opened fearing there would be somebody already there to ambush us. The phone didn't work, so we couldn't call the front desk, so we had to go back to the front desk, only to find another couple who had come in jist before us, complaining about other issues , showing pictures of what they'd found, etc. Rooms are very small. Bathrooms are even smaller (door scrapes the toilet when opened). It's an old, dirty property. Pay a few more bucks and save yourself from this headache. No professional, problem-solving staff. No quality on this Quality Inn, for sure!

There are two buildings. One is from the 1960’s and the other is newer and probably where the ADA rooms are located. The 1960’s building is a two story motel with about 30 rooms. The owner needs to spend some money on updating that building, or better yet, tear it down. The advertisement picture did not show the old building. Decades of layers of paint can not cover up everything. First, our toilet plumbing broke, we got moved to a different room, but then the bathroom door wouldn’t shut unless you picked it up a bit, then the plastic cover on the window heat and ac unit fell off. The people next to us had two dogs that barked for hours while the occupants were gone. We almost left for a different place, but knew we wouldn’t get a refund and decided to stick it out and remember to never stay there again. At least the bedding appeared clean and we had hot water. Also the hot tub was empty with yellow caution tape around it. We certainly did not try breakfast based off of how lousy everything was. The owners clearly don’t care about the facility.

We were booked for three nights but only stayed one and found a new hotel. The room was fine but smelled like smoke. But then the bathroom floor boards were dirty and the tub wouldn’t drain so it filled up while showering.

The website says the hot tub and pool are 24 hour, they are not. Also, the hot tub was out of service which was the whole reason we selected this hotel. They charged me an incidental fee but not my daughter in law.

The door wouldnt close to lock without laying on it. There was a breeze coming in through the door. One of lamps didnt have a lightbulb, the handle kn the dresser was broken. The beds were like air mattresses. The sink was clogged. There was no where to plug in a breathing machine bc the clock that had the plugins wouldnt hold and the cords kept falling out. Disaster. When we checked out after being checked in for an hour, the clerk refused to give us a refund and said that management would the next morning. Horrible experience.

The property was fine. My issue was that I was stuck on the elevator for 20 minutes. Had to call the hotel to let them know I couldn't get off. Eventually the lady at the front desk forced the door open with a metal bar. She was very apologetic and handled it well, but it still doesn't change what happened.
