"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The village is lovely. The house has bare minimum of amenities but adequate for our needs. The garden is the star of this property and the host is so nice."

"David out host was really helpful with places to go and everything was as promised"

"As a group of 4 adults, we stayed in the property for 4 nights - used it as a base to visit the many sites and museums dedicated to WW2. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe hanging space and the need to take extra care on the steep, twisting staircase. Hopefully we will return. Thank you."
