« This condo is a beautiful slice of paradise in the most beautiful and peaceful spot on Oahu. I stayed during the 4th of July and didn’t hear a single firework due to the quiet solitude. Vanessa, the owner, is a very responsive and helpful host, and I highly recommend this spot. »

« Très bel endroit tranquille hors de la cohue de Honolulu .. Paysage superbe au pourtour…la mer qui croise les falaises.. L’appartement..pas de verre à vin…inacceptable en 2024… Le coût du stationnement…quand nous avons réservé en avril 2023..4$/ jour et en janvier 2024 ..15$/ jour. L’appartement mérite un rafraîchissement de peinture..et les plaintes devraient être époussetées…sales..et le nettoyage prendrait 20 minutes.. Mais..en général..avons apprécié …l’immeuble bien entretenu..piscine , BBQ...

« This was our first time staying in Ko Olina and we were afraid we would be bored. Well, we never wanted to leave! So restful and convenient. The complex is lovely and so well maintained. The unit was so comfortable with everything you could want. All of it very high quality. We loved swimming in the lagoon, watching the sunset from the lanai, talking long walks on the path, exploring. Terrific! We miss it. »

« The unit was lovely! It had everything we needed for our 10 day vacation. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s in a quieter, less touristy spot this is it. It’s located in a gated community so the location felt very safe and well maintained. There are several grocery stores and drugstores less than 10 minutes away. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Communication was perfect. We arrived a bit on the early side and the housekeeper was very generous in letting us in early. Makaha Shores is a hidden gem.....a great mix of locals, residents, and vacationers. Would recommend this unit 100 percent. »

« The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. « Beautiful location….could have stayed for weeks! »

« The resort is on a beautiful setting with the best gift of the beautiful walking path along the lagoons all the way down to the Four Seasons. Walking every day and seeing the beautiful views was the best. The room was adequate as we weren’t inside much. We were able to walk to options to eat on site or at KoOlina station and the other resort restaurants. »

« The communication leading up to the visit was not the greatest. There was quite a delay in response to questions and no enthusiasm. During the visit, they checked in via VRBO app messages and seemed a bit more enthusiastic, which was nice. The home was very clean and had a lot of extra towels, not many extra blankets so keep that in mind.
