The room needed cleaned better. No hairdryer in the bathroom. And the TV didn’t work until we called for service.. The came immediately.. We loved the restaurant and the entertainment every night!!! The staff was wonderful!!!

Enjoyable Stay

Liked the location. Property has some age to it, but it was clean and generally well maintained (did have a sticking door latch that had to be oiled twice to get it to work properly while there over course of 6 days). Would liked to have had a microwave in the room. Loved the view from our 2d story deck (ocean and approximately 5 acre grass area that the local birds used heavily. On site restaurant was pricey and fish and chips was bad, but the bar/food by the pools was good.

70th Birthday Trip

Initially the room was very hot and ended up buying a fan at WalMart. We received a room change that turned everything around!! That view from room 4214 was fantastic!! Communicating with the host was a little tricky for me but got it to work. Didn’t realize until we checked in that we’d have to pay for parking.

Nice but needs up dates.

Upon arrival the floor in our unit was already sandy. The furniture on the deck had not been clean for a while. They have a problem with birds, understood that, but we didn’t get to use that area at all. The shower curtain and towels needed to be replaced years ago. The bed and pillows had a bad odor. The de humidifier we had to empty at least three times a day. We were told at check-in that since we didn’t book the unit via the resort (we booked via the owner) that we could not come to them for any type of services. No extra towels, no room cleaning and no maintenance issues. We were told we could pay $??00 for cleaning and $??00 for towel exchange per day. That was on top of the rental cost. The ironing board and iron needs to be replaced. On a good note, the resort itself was nice and well maintained for an older resort.

Perfect vacation

This resort is perfect for people wanting a central location to explore the island. 30 minutes to drive to both the North and south shores. The resort is clean and has everything needed to relax and stay put as well- several pools, 3 restaurants and sits on miles of walkable beachfront. All of the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The host was spectacular with timely communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Resort retreat

The property is dated but still beautiful. The restaurant was convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were elements of the resort that could use attention but overall it was as stated and we had a wonderful time. Being close to the airport at the end of our trip was a great decision and we caught a last minute seat on a helicopter tour that ended up being a top highlight!

Wonderful!

We found this place last minute and I’m so happy we did! We planned to spend our 25th Anniversary in Maui but after the fires, we changed our trip to Kauai. We absolutely loved the island and the resort this room is located in. Crystal was so responsive to our questions and even offered us a mid-week cleaning. We hope to be back someday. Thank you!!

Even better than expected!

Absolutely beautiful, meticulously maintained property! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The lanai opens up to nothing but open space and ocean and is very private. You can see and hear the ocean, it’s only a 1-2 minute walk from the room to the beach. The open space outside of the lanai is a grassy field filled with beautiful birds all day with a view of the mountains in the distance. This resort is just far enough away from town to be quiet and feel secluded yet it is still convenient to run to the store in less than 10 minutes. The amenities are wonderful…5 pools, 2 hot tubs and endless waterfalls. One of the on-site restaurants, Shutters Lounge, offered the best food we had during the entire trip. The live music every night was great, too. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again, it was perfect!

Beautiful location

This resort is older and a bit dated but we found it clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous! Sunrise every morning on the beach was the best. Partial ocean view from this room. Pool area is fantastic. Nice restaurant on site. Definitely would stay here again.

Lovely Stay

The property pool and restaurant was very nice. We really enjoyed the pool and having breakfast at the restaurant. The overall property is dated but charming. The room was as described but a little dated. The property manager communicated well and respinded quickly to my emails. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

Paradises perfect location

Crystal was the perfect host. The TV projector went out around the first day of our 8 day trip and Crystal got a new TV in the room by the next day. She was very responsive and helpful. The multiple spas/pools were amazing making it feel like you had your own. I believe this to be the perfect location for many reasons. We had views of beach from the balcony in our very home feeling room. With our rental car we could go an hour towards Princeville/Napali or an hour towards Poipu Beach/Waimea Canyon. The food is amazing at the resort with wonderful service we ate most breakfasts at the resort restaurant before heading out on adventures for the day. Then coming back to the resort amenities to relax at night. I cannot wait to visit again. Hopefully we will not be in the same circumstances as my husband lost his brother this last month and my 13 year old dog was just euthanized as well just before this trip. This trip has helped our grieving process and have felt love from people we have never met like Crystal. I cannot say enough thanks to them for this amazing stay.

Kauai Beach Resort vacation

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at KBR, the rooms were clean and well kept, food at the restaurants was great and decent sized for the price compared to some other locations on the island. Pools are large and could easily accommodate the guests there without feeling crowded. Great place to stay for a relaxing vacation in the sun, there is an onsite Hertz car rental available if you want to get out and about around Kauai that is very convenient.

Ok stay at Kaua’i Beach Resort

We enjoyed visiting Kaua’i. The resort and room are both outdated and worn. Hall carpets were never vacuumed our entire stay and were dirty when we got there. The bed was comfortable. The mini fridge was a good size for stocking food and drinks. We enjoyed our lanai and view and sound of the ocean. Shutters Restaurant was nice for a bite, drink and live music. Spent most of our time exploring the island and very little time at the resort. Sunrises were the prize though no place to sit on the beach or greens. The island is enchanting. Anini Beach was our favorite spot.
