"Location and the breakfast are pretty good, the rest is quite bad for a so-called five star hotel. The keycards were not working, neither in the elevator nor to open the room, so we had to go back to reception to receive new ones. One employee told us that the key reader in one of the only two elevators is broken. So why they don't repair it when they are even aware about it?? In the room, plenty of things were either broken or designed as stupidly as it can possibly be (not rare in Peru...): You have to wait for approx. 3 min until hot water is arriving in the shower. As there's no sign on the handle which way would be hot/cold water, you feel lost and keep guessing. The hair dryer was completely broken and made so much noise that we were afraid of using it. They don't put anymore these small shampoos doses to save plastic garbage, but place larger bottles on the wall for various guests. Does make sense, I agree. But they placed such a stupid metallic protection against robbery above these shampoo/conditioner bottles that you cannot even use them, nothing comes out because you cannot push enough the handle due to that metal. Amazingly stupid, how can it possible be? It's a typical Peruvian thing to protect that heavily against thieves that the honest people are also negatively impacted all over the place, but this one here in luxury hotel is extreme even for Peru. What a shame. In short, if you are looking for a five star treatment don't go here. "

"Very clean Hotel, excellent service and delicious breakfast. Nice pool and Sauna (ask one hour before and enjoy on the rooftop) Very kind staff. Only downside: now out of season, other events on side, but not disturbing, just busy in the lobby at times, but acceptable and staff is very focused on you having a good time.
