„Such a shame- could have been 5 star!! Internally the room was great, very comfortable and modern BUT from outside looked dreadful- dirty windows, dead window boxes and number missing from the door. Was very inconvenient, having to go out and buy tea & coffee ( I had asked before we travelled and was assured it was provided.) I draw the line at having to buy loo roll !! Attention to detail needed!“

„Faultless. Perfect holiday. Thank you.“

„Wir wurden freundlichst empfangen und obwohl wir erst spät kamen und in der Küche schon aufgeräumt wurde, wurde uns noch eine tolle warme Mahlzeit gereicht.“

„great place, super food, wonderful selection of beer and polite and friendly staff.“

„We had a wonderful 4 night stay at The Gables. Room was fabulous and host Angus so friendly and welcoming. Such a quiet property and bed so comfortable and warm. Bathroom facilities excellent. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and nothing was too much for Angus. Thank you we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and staying at The Gables. Mike and Wendy“

„Es war absolut perfekt. Sehr netter Empfang, gutes Essen, guter Service und alle waren freundlich. Man fühlte sich fast wie zu Hause. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. “

„nettes und kuscheliges Zimmer. Heimelig britisch eben.“

„Room was clean, but mould/mildew in bathroom. No wifi. Bit of a trek into town but it’s a nice walk, uphill on the way back. Lady downstairs was lovely. Definitely lots of noise coming from the pub when you’re trying to sleep. Cheap accommodation, you pay for what you get.“

„Hotel was nice however the host insisted my colleague paid her direct in her account even this had been paid for via Hotels.com“
