« We stayed one night at The Dakota in Sioux Falls as a stopover before heading to Chicago, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious — exactly what you need after a long day on the road. The lady at reception was exceptionally kind and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. Check-in did feel noticeably longer than at other places we’ve stayed during our trip even though the guest checking in in front of us was mostly done, but...

« Nice place to stay. Didn't see much of Sioux Falls as weather atrocious but had a nice few nibbles at bar in the evening. Breakfast service was poor, no tea, only one person serving so very slow. I don't eat cooked breakfast and the array of choice from buffet was quite poor. Would stay there again but would have breakfast somewhere else. »

« We got locked in the elevator for over 45 minutes. We finally pushed the door open and was able to get out. We was on the phone with the elevator company but they never showed up. The hotel couldn't refund our room money because we booked through Expedia. No one called from the motel either to explain how they could make it right with us. »

« Brand new, nice hotel with a few kinks to work out. It begins on the 4th floor or the orthopedic hospital. Too us a while to figure out how to get to it. A very nice nurse escorted us to the front desk through the hospital. There is no where to pull up to check in- you have to go in and then they ask you out a sticker in your windshield so security knows you are staying there. Kind of inconvenient to get there and have to walk back out to put in car, especially when we parked in a spot...
