Sehr gutes Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück und ausgezeichnetem Personal. Der Ort ist mega central, muss man aber etwas aufwärts laufen. Die Strasse ist ziemlich laut aber mit den Fenstern zu ist es nicht schlimm :)

Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about this hostel. I really love where it is located. There is a large square in front of the hostel with a beautiful view over Lisbon and a nice pizza place close by. The employees are very friendly and helpful and I liked the building in general. The breakfast is okay for being included in the price and the staff is very friendly. What I did not like is, that there is no Wi-Fi in private rooms, that my room was a little dark (there was no ceiling light), everything in the bathroom is a little small and most important: the space between the bed and the wall was quite dirty. I also thought I could visit the rooftop terrace at any time and did not know that it is part of a restaurant and I have to order something in order to stay there.

Sehr schönes Hotel und Zimmer (Suite), mit wunderbarer Dachterasse und guten Speisen. Der große Platz vor dem Hotel ist sehr schön (u.a.mit LiveMusik sowie schönem Blick auf die Innenstadt inkl. Sonnenaufgang). „Leider“ ist dieser Platz bei jungen Leuten sehr beliebt (nachts sehr laut). Wir mussten daher die Fenster nachts schließen.

Die einzigartige Lage am schönsten Aussichtspunkt Lissabons. Und an der Grenze zum Bairro Alto. Also voll im Leben. Deshalb liegen auch Ohrenstöpsel am Bett. Die sehr guten Schallschutzfenster und die Aircondition machen diese jedoch unnötig. Noch nie gesehen war jedoch der liebevolle Stil der Einrichtung und der Gestaltung der Zimmer. Ergänzt durch wohl platzierte Stilbrecher und die uralten Aufzüge war dieser Aufenthalt für uns einmalig. Das sehr freundliche und entgegenkommende Personal hat nur höchstes Lob verdient. Das Frühstück konnte sehr entspannt direkt am Buffet oder im Patio eingenommen werden. Wenn ich wieder in Lissabon weile, würde ich wieder dorthin gehen.

Richtig schöne Unterkunft, kleines aber tolles Frühstück, spitzen Lage um Lissabon zu erkunden und nette Leute im Service. Nachteil ist, dass das alte Gebäude sehr hellhörig ist, am Wochenende war’s schon sehr laut. Und unser lunch packet für den Abreisetag wurde vergessen, aber das ist nur einer Person zuzuschreiben. Ich habe in einem 12-Bett Zi übernachtet, es waren 3-stöckige Betten, ziemlich wackelig, wenn sich jmd umgedreht hat. - Keine Vorhänge +großes Zi, geräumig -Handtuch kostet 2€ + 3€Pfand, um ein neues sauberes zu erhalten muss man erneut 2€ bezahlen (hab ich in anderen Hostels schon besser erlebt) +Frühstück kostenlos, sehr spartanisch, zwei Scheiben Toast, wahlweise Käse+Salami+Butter, Instant-Kaffee, Tee (versch.Sorten) ,O-Saft Sirup (nicht zu empf), Cornflakes. Das Hauseigene Restaurant ist super zum Dinner. - sanitäre Anlagen unsauber, klein und zu wenig (für die gesamte Etage 3x Männer Klo's + 3x Duschen) +Aufenthaltsraum auf d Etage groß, mit Sitz-und Arbeitsmöglichkeiten +Küche mit Waschmaschine (3€ Waschpulver) +Super Lage, schöne Aussicht, nebenan "Roof-Top-Bar" mit tollen Ausblick über die Stadt, leckeres, feines portugiesisches Essen (mittl. Klasse Hotel zwischen Ikea und Historie
Wir haben günstig eine Suite gebucht und waren auch sehr zufrieden, inklusive Frühstück und Balkon über den Dächern Lissabons war es perfekt. Frühstück war auch sehr gut und auch die Dame dort hatte stets gute Laune und so kann ein Tag wirklich gut starten. Auch das Restaurant The Decadente ist es wert zu besuchen.

Modernes und individuelles Hotel in guter Lage
Gute Lage zwischen Bairro Alto und Chiado Leider bekamen wir statt dem ausgeschriebenen Zimmer mit Dachterasse eins im Nachbargebäude ohne Balkon, dafür neu und schön gerichtet und sauber. Gutes Frühstück auf der Terasse.

This was a fun and funky hostel, but our private room was very nice. It was roomy, had a small but good bathroom and a comfortable bed. The lighting could be improved. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The location was very convenient with many good dining options very nearby. You can pick up an Tuk-Tuk across the street. It was a 10-15 Euro ride to and from the airport on Uber.

The good: This hostel has preserved some of the grand architectural details from its former life, lending it a lot of charm. The included breakfast was good. The staff were nice, and it was clean. The small plaza across the street from the hostel has gorgeous views of Lisbon. For the less-good: I was in a dorm room, and they really ought to add privacy curtains to the bunks. When you have 8 people coming and going, a curtain really makes it more private and cuts down on the light pollution. Also, I arrived quite early in the morning, and while they were able to stow my luggage, they wouldn’t allow me to use the shower until after check-in. Guys, it’s a communal shower accessed from the hallway - I wouldn’t have to go into anyone’s room, I wouldn’t be creating extra work for anyone, I’m staying at yourhostel for several days, you have my ID and credit card… just let me wash the plane grease off, ok? What’s the issue?

Regarding the shower before the check-in in, there must have been some miscommunication and I apologize for that because usually it is not a problem to let you go use the shower or even the common area, if you just want to sit or eat something. Welcoming, clean, great vibes, location, transportation easy. Party district. Bunk/shared room = coming and going at ALL hours. Take earplugs and eyemask a lock to secure posessions in an ample drawer (that fit all my carry on and personal things) Nice cozy spaces to journal. Spotty wifi, but free. Showers are ok, but cold fast! Wonderful breakfast included. 8-11am

The existence of a check in time is something that is inescapable in any accommodation business, as the teams need time between the check out time, which in our case is 12pm and the check in time (3pm). During this time our teams clean the hotel and the rooms in order for the next guest to have clean accommodations for their stay.Every time we can we will check in our guests before the guaranteed check in time, but unfortunately this is not always possible. In future cases like this one, where you know you will arrive very early, in case you want to guarantee a room or bed in the morning, you need to book it from the night before. That way the room/bed will be ready for you even if you arrive in the middle of the night. We hope to see you again next time you are in Lisbon!
