Wahnsinns zentral gelegenes Kinderhotel
Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern 1&3 Jahren dort und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Super freundlicher Service super Kinderlieb und vor allem der Kinderbereich und die Betreuung waren Wahnsinn. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen ebenso die Zimmer waren schwer in Ordnung. Ideal für einen City Trip in Lissabon, da es sehr zentral gelegen ist. Ein paar Schritte und man ist an der bekannten Straßenbahn Linie 28 in der wir jedes Mal einen Sitzplatz mit den beiden Zwergen bekommen haben. Direkt an der Station ist ein Kiosk mit einem wahnsinnsleckeren Schokoladen Kuchen. Auch kurzer Weg zu Fuß und man ist an der Fährestation, um zur Christus Statur zu kommen. Direkt an der Markthalle und an der Haltestelle vom Bus - eine Richting Beleem und in die andere Richtung fährt er direkt bis zum Aquarium und dem atemberaubend Kinder-Science-Museum. Super auch schon für die kleinen Zwerge, ohne Kinder ist es nur bedingt spannend. Auch die Seilbahn direkt um die Ecke hat unseren Mäusen gefallen. Insgesamt kann ich mir kein besseres Hotel vorstellen, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Abends haben wir 2 min fußläuftig in einem tollen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen wärend unsere Mäuse im Pyjama Club Spaß hatten. Alle kamen auf ihre Kosten - so macht Reisen sehr viel Spaß. So viele tolle kinderfreundliche Tips habe ich auch noch nie an einer Rezeption bekommen und vor allem die Buggy- Tauglichkeit Tips der ausgewählten Strecke waren spitze, da ein Kinderwagen nicht überall geeignete ist.

zentrales Familienhotel,auch geeignet ohne Kinder
Durch die zentrale Lage konnte man alles sehr gut zu Fuss erkunden. Wer trotzdem auf oeffentliche Verkehrsmittel zurueckgreifen moechte der hat in unmittelbahrer Naehe U-Bahnstation,Zugstation und Schiffshafen. Das Hotel ist sehr familienfreundlich: riesiges Spielzimmer mit Betreuung. Die Zimmer sind ueberdurchschnittlich gross und bestens ausgestattet. 4 Herdplatten, Backofen, Mikrowelle,Geschirrspuehler,Wachmaschine und zu guter letzt eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine! In einem riesigen Bett konnte man sehr gut schlafen, leider wurde die Nacht am Wochenende etwas gestoehrt, durch groehlende Partygaeste auf der Strasse.(einziges Manko dieses Hotel,die Fenster) Die Fenster konnte man auch nicht oeffnen, trotzdem ein gutes Raumklima. Das Hotel wuerden wir immer wieder gerne besuchen und auch unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschönes aehr kinderfreundliches Hotel
Unser Aufenthalt in Martinhal Chiado war wunderbar! Das Hotel liegt super zentral in Lissabon City (in einer Nebenstraße). Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, unzählige Geschäfte und Restaurants sind in Kürze zu erreichen. Am Ende der Strasse fährt die berühmte Eléctrico Nr. 28 die engen Gassen hoch und runter. Die nächste Metro ist in weniger als 5min zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist super lecker (alle Eierspeisen und Kaffeespezialitäten werden frisch zubereitet). Das Service Personal ist um alles bemüht, extrem zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit in allen Dingen und sehr freundlich (kinderlieb). Man bekommt jede Menge Tipps und wir durften sogar im 30km entfernten Partnerhotel Cascai den Pool und den Spa kostenfrei nutzen! Klasse Service! Wir werden wieder in Martinhal buchen!

Great experience for kids & parents
We loved the location right in the centre of Lisbon since we could walk almost everywhere - up and down the 7 hills. Our kids really enjoyed the kids club to the extent that they didn't want to come with us for dinner anymore. ☺️ One detail tbat could be improved: we would have appreciated if the cleaning stuff would come a bit earlier since we like to take nap after lunches when on holiday. But not a big issue. All in all a fantastic hotel with great people!

We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. The people were lovely, the complimentary drink voucher on arrival was a very nice touch and we would definitely go back. It's clearly a very family friendly hotel and we felt very at ease there with our son (12) and daughter (9).

The hotel is very family focused. The items in the room are safe for kids, there is a highchair, toys, kid safe utensils, a kids playroom downstairs, and everyone is helpful and understanding of families. The service was amazing, and the young man at the front desk was super helpful. The bar seemed to cater to non-hotel guests but we didnt spend time there other than to get our free drink. The negative to the hotel which was pretty big for us was the noise. We could hear people upstairs, outside in the hall and outside. We did not sleep the whole night Friday due to people partying and screaming in the streets. The sirens (there were many) were manageable as compared to the music and yelling all night from the street. Our 22 month old did not sleep all night and it ruined our flight home.

Atendimento excelente, localização ótima, próxima a lojas, restaurantes e atrações. O quarto, apesar de grande, tinha um piso barulhento e o banheiro piso extremamente gelado, principalmente considerando que.estavamos no inverno. Como o chuveiro fica dentro da banheira e a porta so vai até a metade, molha bastante. Hotel familiar, bom para ficar com crianças.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Martinhal Lisbon Chiado. Our room was spacious and allowed plenty of space for our family of 4 to get over our jet-lag. We had a separate bedroom, alcove with a twin bunk bed off the hallway and a living room with kitchen. The staff went above and beyond and also provided different activities for our children for about 30-60 minute increments as needed. We did notice that the smell of cleaning supplies in one of the hallways was quite strong but it wasn’t an issue within the rooms themselves. We would absolutely stay here again with young children and loved the offering this hotel provided. The location is also tough to beat and make sure to enjoy the Landeau chocolate cake next door!

The perfect place to stay in Lisbon, chiado with kids. My son is almost 2 years old and he loved the playground at the hotel. Also we loved the room and all the amenities provided. They even left us milk, juices and fruits at our room. Also you can find bottle warmer and all the amenities for kids and babies. We requested babysitting services and I can recommend it without a doubt. Marta was the babysitter for our son for two nights and she was excellent. She took great care of our son, she played with him and feed him. The staff is so helpful and they provided excellent customer service. I wish there was a martinhal in every country :) .

This hotel is in a great location. In the middle of the hill, near the water and other great attractions. The staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are set up great for families. Lots of amenities make it very comfortable for families. There are many wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby too.

This is a great apt hotel conveniently located to the very active riverfront of Lisbon and other attractions. The apt we received was roomy with a very nice kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bedrooms and bathroom. The breakfast was included, with delicious omelettes, baked goods, fresh coffee, etc. The staff from Goncalo Nogueira (the operations manager), cook, and the 4-5 other desk staff,were extremely helpful and accommodating with where to go, how to get there, etc. A wonderful experience, a great place to stay for families and couples, great value, too.

I was surprised at how fabulous this stay was. The location is perfect and I was upgraded bc of my Expedia status (something most hotels ignore!) to an apartment. It was so well equipped and appointed. I would book this hotel again and again and highly recommend the apartment if you like a little downtime between tourist activities. The breakfast is also fantastic and complete. Overall very highly recommended!

Great sized apartment for a family of 4. Great location. Helpful staff. Wasn’t that impressed with breakfast but lots of great places around for more choices.

If you are traveling with small kids, there is not a better place to stay in Lisbon. Excellent location, spacious and lovely apartments, and great cafe downstairs. They even provide milk and juice in the fridges for free for the little ones, along with gift bags containing puzzles, shoes and hats! Highly, highly recommend.

Séjour exceptionnel
J’ai passé 5 jours formidables dans cet établissement. C’est un vrai 5 étoiles par la qualité de l’ameublement et des prestations, à un prix raisonnable. Nous avons été surclassés, et nous remercions l’etablissement pour ce geste. Ce qui nous a le plus plu: la situation géographique dans la rubrique “mieux placé tu meurs!” hyper centre proche de tous transports, les petits déjeuners extra en particulier les fruits exotiques mûrs à point, l’espace et la grande hauteur sous plafond des appartements, et enfin le calme pour des nuits tranquilles. La literie est 2m X 2m. Je ne vois pas ce qu’ils peuvent faire mieux, pour le pris bien sûr et je dis merci et je recommande.

A family oriented hotel but also fine for couples. We stayed during October when most kids are in school and the hotel was perfect for 2 people without kids. The breakfast is fantastic and the location in Chiado is great. Be prepared to walk up and down hills from this location.
