My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and her familyâthey had the larger house and we took the smaller one. It was lovely being close together but not in the same house. My only complaint is that the listing says that this property is in Pray, Montana. It is not. It is on the other side of the Yellowstone River from Pray. The property is actually right off Highway 89, a few miles north of Emigrant. My only complaint is that this listing says the
We had a lovely stay at the Moose Horn Lodge and Trout House. The accommodations were clean, spacious and attractively decorated. The toys in the closet were a hit with my four year old grandson! I also appreciated the timely and helpful communication with Tanya.
This is a beautiful property and we loved it! Both homes were immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The weather was warm and beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoors as well. There were lawn games provided and a very well manicured lawn. The children and adults in our group enjoyed the porch and lawn immensely. We will definitely come back for our next visit to Livingston. Tanya was very communicative and our concerns were her concerns. Very enjoyable stay!!
The main cabin where we stayed is very roomy and nicely decorated. Itâs a great location if you want to go to Yellowstone Park, Livingston, and Bozeman! It had everything we needed in a house for cooking etc. I highly recommended it!!! Plenty of towels, a really large washing machine and dryer, nice dishes and glasses, large bedrooms, with a large walkin closet in the main room, large refrigerator and more. Everything was great!!!!
The property and surrounding area were quintessentially Montana. Absolutely stunning views, comfortable beds and had everything our 12 person group needed. The host was wonderful to correspond with and responded quickly any time we messaged. I would highly recommend staying here!
Rented cabins for my wedding party to stay at. Very clean and cozy. Everyone kept saying how they felt like home there. Perfect for get togethers. The outside is even amazing and clean! Only live a mile from there but might have to book myself a little staycation there!
The larger house was in great shape and very well maintained. However, in the smaller building the bathroom smells like urine very strongly and there are tons of huge flies everywhere, especially in all the window sills. We struggled with getting the TV to stay on as well. The bedding in the main room smells unclean/ unwashed
My family stayed here to celebrate my sisters graduation from MSU. It was wonderful staying in the âmiddle of nowhereâ after being in the city all day. We loved the home and enjoyed a few days out in the yard with a beautiful scenery around us. Itâs a perfect location if you love a good view without being too far from town.
I have a large family, when I found this rental, we were thrilled. We rented both the cabins on the property, and everyone had more than enough space. I was nervous about being so close to the highway, but we were pleasantly surprised to find there wasnât road noise. Centrally located, we made trips to Chico and Yellowstone hot springs. Such a great trip. Very comfortable cabin.
My husband and I brought our three daughters and their spouses to Montana for a vacation this summer. Your property was perfect for our family of 8 and it is in a great location. We started each day by having coffee on the porch in the morning. We spent a day at Yellowstone National Park, spent a rainy afternoon at Chico Hot Springs, went horseback riding at the Stermitz Ranch and rented a rafts from Rubber Ducky River Rentals to float down the Yellowstone River. Thank you for the excellent recommendations in your book.
This was a perfect place for eight adults to reunite for a much needed vacation. The cabins were comfortable, well stocked, and clean. The location in Paradise Valley provided glorious sunsets, rainbows, and starry nights. We explored the heights and depths of Yellowstone, the Beartooth Highway, and Galatin Canyon on some days, while hiking and fly fishing locally to our hearts' content. The days were warm and the evenings cool. We are grateful for the privilege of staying in such a welcoming and beautiful place.
We had the best time at this location. Both houses were very clean and provided everything listed. The furnishings were very adequate and our family had such an enjoyable time there. The location is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The Wi-Fi at the Trout House was sketchy, but fine at the other house. It is a beautiful piece of property!
Property worked very well between both houses separated by a lawn. Kids could go back & forth to each house. View is absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend this location
We had a wonderful stay! The cabins were clean, comfortable, and cozy. The views were amazing and we enjoyed having access to the river. Great location! Would definitely recommend!
Great place for a family! We stayed over Christmas and there was plenty of room between the two houses. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking big meals.
Tanya was easy to work with, and very responsive to our questions. The accommodations were great for a family gathering. And had a kitchen well equipped to help us celebrate thanksgiving, we also enjoyed the close proximity to Yellowstone.
