Fabulous hotel! Lovely steam room, sauna, pool, gym, spa treatments. Food amazing - you have to have the evening meal if only once during your stay. Excellent value for money all round.

A GREAT BREAK,
My wife and I have stayed at the Empire Hotel before and treat ourselves to a short break there when possible.The decor and ambience are first rate and it tends to be a very peaceful place to relax,especially in the comfortable lounge areas. There is also a small swimming pool and gym area.We did not dine in the evenings because there was a set menu and my wife is not a big eater,but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of shops and the promenade.

It was so great we booked to stay an extra night. The only issue was the pillows were dreadful. Far too flat, I had to sleep with 3 so not the best sleep. But apart from that everything was amazing, staff, service, food and entertainment.

The spa facilities were excellent, allowed one to relax after roaming around town. Great food, with good choice for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic hotel with great charm
Beautiful old-world surroundings with a modern touch and excellent customer service, both in reception and the dining room. The location is ideal for a short walk to local shops, the beach and the tram to Great Orme. We particularly enjoyed a singalong in the piano bar after dinner!

Swimming pool didn’t feel or smell clean and we didn’t enjoy that part of our stay. Was a big anti climax to what looked amazing in the pictures. Probably explained why it was empty

We had an amazing time and took advantage of the wonderful pool aswell. The room was nice and very comfy with amazing views of Llandudno. Breakfast was nice but would have liked more options at the buffet as not a big fan of hot breakfasts. Overall very nice stay.

Lovely place. My only criticism was the lack of Evening meal options/ You had to have a 5 course set menu which is too much for a lot of people. Would have liked to one,two or three course option. Was told you can have one course but it is the same price. Hardly seems fair. Would still go back though.

Don’t bother
Was disappointed for the price we paid. The room had stains on the headboard and curtains, the windows were very difficult to open and the pool smelt terrible. The breakfast was not nice at all and the service left a lot to be desired. It felt like it was meant to have a classic feel but just seemed dated and tatty. There’s a lot nicer places to stay for a better price.

Because the bedroom was small there was no room even for a small dressing table in front of a mirror. The shower head was not adjustable, and hence having a shower without getting your hair wet is another problem for some ladies.

Fantastic Stay
Had a wonderful stay in The Empire Hotel & Spa. The room was fantastic and housekeeping done everyday. The decor of the hotel is also fabulous. We had breakfast which is served from 8am to 10am. No complaints here either. There is enough on-site parking throughout the property, but you have to keep the keys in the reception if the car is blocking another. (one after the other) Overall a wonderful stay in the hotel and definitely recommended!
