„Ich verbrachte eine Nacht im HandHotel. Sehr schöne schicke Eingangshalle mit Bar. Das Zimmer war dann aber sehr einfach. Die Tapete bröselte teils und mein Fenstervorhang lies sich nur notdürftig öffnen. Insgesamt ein dem Zweck dienliches Hotel, aber so richtig gemütlich ist es nicht mehr. Hatte sicher einmal mehr Glanz, heute auf den zweiten Blick etwas veraltet. Das ist ist gut. Personal bemüht und meist freundlich.“

„Property is well located for a jumping off point anywhere in the Lake District. We had a two bedroom for my wife, my son, and with a parking spot right in front of the door. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was plenty to get you going. The you lady working the desk/restaurant/bar is a joy.“
