Schönes, ruhiges Hotel
Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und ruhig. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Wir haben einmal in der Hotelbar gegessen, das war sehr lecker. Für Drinks kann ich die Bar nicht empfehlen. Der Gin Tonic war ziemlich langweilig und lieblos angerichtet. Auch der Barkeeper war unfreundlich.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof gewählt, dass durch permanenten Lärm einer Lüftungsanlage vom Nachbargebäude beschallt wurde. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenster Dauerlärm. Weiterhin sollte man darauf achten (unser Fehler), dass nur noch freie Zimmer mit dem Begriff "Barrierefrei" in diese Hotel, in Bezug auf das Bad, als sehr unpraktisch zu bezeichnen ist. Das Miniwaschbecken ist nur kniend zu gebrauchen. Auch die behindertengerechte Dusche ist eine Herausforderung.

Auf jeden Fall war es bisher das beste Hotel, in dem ich London war. Wenn der Badboden sauberer gewesen wäre, dann würde ich nichts beanstanden, aber leider war der Boden im Bad gar nicht sauber - einziger Kritikpunkt. Über Frühstück kann nichts gesagt werden, da wir es nicht genützt haben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Die Ausstattung des Hotels entsprach unseren Vorstellungen und Bedürfnissen. Sehr erfreut waren wir, dass unser 3-Bettzimmer auch wirklich mit einem Doppelbett und einem breiten Einzelbett für unsere Tochter (wie auch auf den Bildern auf der Webseite ersichtlich) ausgestattet war. Bei dem Einzelbett handelt es sich - wie oft in Hotels üblich - nicht nur um ein Zustellbett oder eine Schlafcouch, sondern um eine richtiges Boxspringbett. Dieses Hotel ist daher von seiner Ausstattung auch Familien sehr zu empfehlen! Zudem war das Personal sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit.

There were no toiletries. On the day of arrival had to call in four times to finally get them. Without hand soap that is. Three days later till the moment we checked out, we still didn’t get it. Arranged a surprise for my kid with the staff, got reassured many times via email all is prepared… on arrival nothing was as arranged. Altogether the hotel seems to run under complete chaos, there is no organisation whatsoever! Bathroom is dirty, no toiletries as mentioned before, no toilet brush to clean up after yourself…. For a 4star hotel with good ratings very surprising. I will definitely not be returning and can not recommend it either

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen nahe U-bahn und Bus. Sehr schönes Hotel. Das eiinzige was mir nicht gefallen hat, war das Frühstück: kein Käse und bei der Wurst nur Schinken, der nicht besonders gut war. Da hätte ich mir von einem 4 Sterne Hotel mehr erwartet.

Bad reception team - nice service staff
Reception is not helpful- polite, but not friendly Families like us, don’t get rooms next to each other even we asked for it 3 months earlier. Bar was ok - some of the waiters were really nice. Others made a lot of mistakes with our orders. Halfboard is the same menu every day - you are not allowed to sit in the restaurant- you must eat at the bar and hope that you get a table where you do not sit next to the bar (loud and cold due to air conditioning) or in the dark corner- it is not appropriate to eat there. Tables and seats don’t fit for dinner. Restaurant was on 24 of the 30 days we stayed empty. Would not have been a problem to give us a normal table. But reception and management do all for rules, not for guests. No one ever greets customers - especially not reception an management. Breakfast was ok - there the staff is friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about the hotel staff. Very courteous and helpful! My luggage was delayed and they were very helpful in securing it when it arrived. My room was nice. The food options at the bar and bistro were great. Food service staff were also great. Good location also.

9/10. Great hotel, great location only a 10 minute walk to King’s Cross. Great value for money as well, especially for central London. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and polite. The hotel is nice and very clean. Breakfast has good selections. Will definitely stay again.
