"Check-in was great because of the super friendly and hepful staff member. Sadly I do not know her name but whenever I talked to or ran into staff members they were always super friendly. Surrounded by tropical plants and animals, the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are functional but old. For example there was a part of of the vinyl floor was missing and the shower clearly has seen a lot of years go by. So even when clean it looks dirty because of those years. The bed in the single room is small but quite comfortable. The communal kitchen is functional and clean. The parking lot is small but sufficient. You have to drive out for a bit to get there but for the tours that make Airlie beach a destination worth going you can get picked up here. Value for money is great for Airlie Beach."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Reef View Hotel. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was very pleasant. The welcome at reception was excellent and the hotel and surrounding area were very well explained to us. The rooms are very large and we had a great sea view from the 10th floor. A small negative aspect is that the rooms are a bit dated and you can see this in one or two places. A renovation is necessary from our point of view. The breakfast buffet offered a varied selection. The choice of excursions is also very varied, but sometimes also very expensive. A big plus point is the free rental of non-motorized water sports. All in all, we liked the Reef View Hotel very much and would definitely come back again. "

"We spend wonderful, relaxing and quiet days in this very nice resort - our cosy little hous was directly at the beach with a stunning view. All staff was very accomodating, supportive and cheerful - we will ever be back again if we get the chance!"
