The Spear is an open-sky log cabin at Flint Rock Cabins in Lonsdale, Arkansas — sitting at the edge of open pastureland with unobstructed country views in every direction. It is the sunnier, more open of the two cabins on the property, with no tree canopy overhead and wide sight lines that make the sunsets and stargazing genuinely exceptional. Located 20 minutes from Hot Springs and 40 minutes from Little Rock.

The Layout
The cabin sleeps four across two sleeping areas — a king bedroom with matching nightstand lamps, Hollywood vanity with lighted mirror, full-length mirror, and open wardrobe, plus a set of twin bunk beds for additional guests or kids. One full bathroom serves the cabin.

The living area includes a leather sofa, stone-front electric fireplace, bar seating for two, wall-mounted Smart TV, and a collection of board and card games. The kitchen is thoroughly stocked — full cookware, small appliances, and a dedicated coffee bar with an espresso machine, dual Keurig, and complimentary coffee supplies. Fast fiber optic WiFi throughout.

The Outdoors
The Spear's defining feature is its openness. The covered front porch has rocking chairs and direct access to your private hot tub. Below the porch, a gravel fire pit area with Adirondack chairs sits under completely open sky — no trees overhead, which makes this the better of the two cabins for stargazing. A private gas grill and picnic table are on site, along with a cornhole set. The sunsets here are the kind that stop you mid-sentence.

Little Rock is about 40 minutes away with Pinnacle Mountain State Park, the Little Rock Zoo, and the Big Dam Bridge as easy day trip options.
