Ok Motel, in die Jahre gekommen.
Typisches älteres Motel, Lage gut in der Nähe vom Flughafen oder Strand. Zimmer etwas muffig und in die Jahre gekommen, Anlage etwas heruntergekommen, aber ok. Würde ich nochmals übernachten? Wenn der Preis stimmt evt.

This isn't the nicest property in terms of amenities/updates, but that is more or less what I expected. I deducted 1 star for two reasons - my door wasn't sealed, which meant it let in quite a bit of noise; and the light switch had broken, so all the lights had to be switched manually. Neither was a major issue, and as they continue to renovate the place I imagine both will be fixed. Good staff, easy checkin and checkout.

I have stayed at Seahorse In some 3 times in the last two years, great location for short stopovers in LA, the manager on site is friendly and very helpful, good service , a few minutes very pleasant walk to Manhattan Beach and it’s cool vibe, excellent supermarket just around the corner, nice swimming pool, easy to get from or to LAX, good value and…. , will certainly stay there again on my way to east coast America and Europe.

For my recent trip to I was looking for something on both west of LA and walking distance (1 mile) to a beach. It’s a steep mile and when you get to the bottom you’ll find yourself in an upscale shopping district, the Strand. Now, the Seahorse in has got some Motel vibes but with a very safe feel. I was also pleased to find gourmet grocers, a same day laundry service, a Target and even a music instrument shop all within walking distance along the boulevard where the inn is located. I booked on Expedia, and at check-in was given the option of upgrading to a slightly larger renovated room with a few more amenities but traveling solo I found the regular non-renovated room was good enough. The room and bathroom were clean and looked after daily by housekeeping. Super-friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely stay there again. I’ve been visiting different parts of Los Angeles for years, on a budget, and love how Seahorse Inn lets you experience an upscale Southern California beach community. Also lots of parking options on the property, both covered spaces as an alternative to the outdoor lot.

they were very nice. the room was clean but no proper sheet that was fitted on to the bed. just a top sheet tucked in along the sides. otherwise the bed and pillows were clean. bathroom very spacious. shower was clean but very very low pressure. overall a good value and we were satisfied, Thank you to the staff

There are no phones in the room. I had to go to the office to ask a question because i did not have the office phone number. No microwave in room, but you could request. Overall though we were pleased with the stay. The rooms were clean and the property was very quiet which was great. Staff was pleasant.

The gentleman who checked me on was very courteous and helpful. After that there were a few significant things that I felt were expected in a hotel. 1. No hairdryer ( I always bring my own but useful if forgot. 2. No phone to the desk.3. No luggage rack 4.TV didnt work so no tv forst night . In the morning I got help from the same gentleman.5. Fan in the bathroom had no cover and dust and stuff came out when on so didnt use it. 6. Maybe just me but Toilet paper was very very thin and so ya have to use double. 7. No breakfast not even just coffee and no coffee pot in the room. Ice bucket and plastic cups. 8. Room walls are thin as you here everything but this hotel is old been here at least 50 plus yrs. The good part was it was in my hometown and this is why I used it. It was not in the area near where I was visiting but I wanted the nostalgia of what it represented to me. I would not although go back to this hotel.

Very nice stay!
A very nice older hotel will the basics. No frills, but clean and quiet. I had an issue making the nightstand lights work and the office sent someone up right away and showed up the light switch!!! Duh! They were very polite and didn’t laugh! Great for a simple overnight or few nights stay. Close to all beach businesses and Kings Harbor in Redondo Beach.

Overall great two night stay. I read many reviews before booking and they were quite mixed. I payed a nominal charge for an updated room and was completely satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of accommodation. I did not feel it was run down, unsafe, or loud from road noise.
