„This property deserves a review to help others understand the layout. We are two middle aged adults and it worked for us. If you have young children this is THE PLACE TO BE. The unit has 2 lofts that are 3.5-4’ tall both have a toilet and sink. Both have tall ladders to climb to get up. We looked up there and left it at that. But they would be such fun rooms for kids. „We had problems the moment we walked in the door and it was 58 degrees inside the home. They were utilizing two splitters in opposite ends of the home for heat and air conditioning. They also expected you to use electric heaters for the remainder of the house. These units are a fire hazard and also would have blown the electric according to their handyman. „Lovely location near Felton and Ben Lomond. Clean rental and kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook. Market is close by along with restaurants. Neighborhood was pleasant and felt peaceful and loved to hear all the birds in the morning! Nearby river in state park provides river water play for kids. We all loved this rental. We’ll be back! Really appreciated having laundry on site as well. Communication was great with host.“

„We enjoyed our stay at the treehouse. My Father lives nearby and spent most of the time away. We mostly slept, bathed, and coffee in the morning. Upon arrival we had a nice handwritten card and some chocolates from the owners which was a nice touch and appreciated. I appreciated the parking convenience and the quiet environment. The unit has ample windows that we opened each night to cool the place down. Summer nights often drop to mid 50s so this works pretty quick- especially with the fans ...

„Overall, the home was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. It was a short drive to everything, but not very walkable. The common areas were furnished nicely, but the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Much too hard for our taste. We marked it down for cleanliness because the carpet was very spotty, mainly in the primary bedroom, and the handles, knobs and light switches throughout the house were not clean. High touch surfaces need extra attention in short term rentals. “

„Perfect location 20 mins from the beach and 10 mins from Henry Cowell Redwoods state park. The house was very spacious, cozy feeling we felt like we were at home. Quiet neighborhood made it enjoyable to sit out in the deck and see the views. Highly recommend if you’re in the Santa Cruz area this is a great place to stay.“
