„The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything the two of us and our two dogs needed for a long weekend. It was quiet and had lovely views over the countryside. It’s only a short walk into the village where there are a choice of eating places (but choose wisely-we chose the farmers arms based on their website and it was the most disappointing meal/experience ever). „The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. „While the outside scenery of the property was beautiful the host was not helpful at all. In addition, I was asked to pay a security deposit amount prior to my visit, which I happily paid. But she kept it unfairly because she said she found a stain in the duvet! I am not sure what stain requires £50 to be washed. Even a new duvet cover doesn’t require £50! One of the reasons we had booked was the availability of internet as our son in law needs access for his business. We had no point of contact to get internet back up. „Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink. ...

"Großes Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht, stilvoll eingerichtet, Parkplatz Zufahrt sehr eng, WLAN ok, umfangreiches frisches Frühstück, Personal überall sehr freundlich, wer hier Abendessen möchte, sollte unbedingt rechtzeitig reservieren (wir waren zu spät und haben bei Rick Stein Fish & Chips gegessen - hat sehr gut gescheckt)."
