« Perfect as always. Location, amenities, cleanliness, communication with the owner…all 5 stars!!! We love it here. As does our rescue dog. Everything you need is right here. We pack coolers and fishing gear and never leave during our stay. Plenty of kayaks, fire pits. So peaceful. We were booked here for 3 nights and at the last minute decided we’d like to stay another night. « Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the lake and all the amenities that were provided. The cabin was just as described and any question or concern we had was answered promptly. It was the perfect vacation to slow down and make family memories. »

« There’s places for swimming, fishing ,kayaking and a boat launch for small watercraft with trailer. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! There is a good size deck to sit on over the water. So quiet and peaceful.Inside there is a large screened in porch great to sit on and take in the water views. « The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots of room in both cabins. With dining and kitchen areas in both, had coffee maker and Keurig's in both buildings as well. And more important than the Lake being close, the ice cream shop is closer!! Also, a nice souvenir shop, restaurant and landmark Donut Shop are within walking distance as well. We look forward to staying here again, but are hoping this review doesn't cause it to be booked when we plan our next trip. »

« This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock.
