Welcome to Sky Dome! This newly built dome is the perfect romantic getaway with all the comforts of home (WiFi, A/C, kitchen & bathroom). Close to the River Outfitters and downtown Luray.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

*** Sky Dome is a true rural mountain property. The final road leading to the cabin is rough and uneven, and a high-clearance vehicle is required for access. Please plan your vehicle accordingly before booking. Truck or SUV required.

*** The private lake is beautiful for enjoying the views and fishing is PERMITTED, but the lake is NOT SUITABLE for swimming and kayaks, paddleboards, boats or other watercraft are not permitted.

*** The property is also approximately 25 minutes from the nearest full-service store, so we strongly recommend purchasing groceries and supplies before arriving.

*** The queen bed loft area is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. Guests with mobility or fitness issues are not advised to use this area so please plan sleeping arrangements accordingly.

The dome features a compact, yet fully stocked kitchen. Main features include modern appliances for preparing meals. There is also a dedicated dining table with 4 chairs to share your meals. The tap water is good to drink here as well from the water spigot next to kitchen faucet.

*NOTE FOR HOT TUB* - we drain and refill the hot tub regularly for your health and safety. The tub may not be fully heated until the first morning of your arrival if we had to drain it the day of your arrival.

The road getting into the cabin is in rough shape due to several severe storms this year. While we are working on getting it fixed, we suggest only booking if you are able to take a 4WD vehicle to avoid any issues accessing the cabin. It is possible with 2WD if you take it very slow, but we strongly suggest a higher clearance vehicle if possible.

We will be accessible 24/7 for our guests via phone, text, or the VRBO app.
Expect a quick and prompt response. We give our guests space but are available for every inquiry.

★ PETS ALLOWED ★
We’d love to welcome your furry friends! We allow a max of 1 pet per reservation and charge a pet fee of $90.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.

★ LAKE NOT ACCESSIBLE ★
While the lake is beautiful to look at, it is not accessible for swimming, fishing or water activities. There is a river access point 3 min away and a great pond for fishing 10 min away.
