idyllisch

We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived! Jane, the owner, provided all the local knowledge needed to plan our few days away including where to eat, get takeout etc. Jane would happily go the extra mile to make sure you have the best time. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was great that we didn’t have to buy condiments..Beds are really comfortable and nicely made up. It was a wonderful chilled break away!Would definitely return and recommend as the area is well located for sight seeing and woodland walks. The only downside was that we had to leave so soon…

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and would happily return. The location is peaceful and perfect for a family break, surrounded by beautiful countryside and great walks nearby. It was an ideal base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the surrounding areas. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped, and it felt very welcoming after long days out. Our children especially loved seeing the sheep and chickens greeting us at the front door, it made the stay feel extra special and really added to the countryside experience.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a charming setting. Thank you for having us!
