We loved every minute of our little getaway. We could live the rest of our lives sitting in the hammock chairs on the front porch. The big table was perfect for puzzles and games. It was cozy and charming. We plan to come back!

The place and hosts were stunning. Absolutely loved our stay there and cannot wait to go back. If your looking for a quiet get away close to the dells this is the place for you. Cannot recommend it enough will for sure return soon.

We came for a three night stay with our dogs and two children (6m and 4y). The first thing I noticed was how clean and well maintained the cabin was. The dogs enjoyed roaming the property and their own couch under the TV to relax on. We enjoyed being close enough to the Dells to visit but also far enough away to disconnect and focus on time together as a family. We will be returning!

Amazing place. The property is clean and well stocked. The view from the porch is wonder. The whole place is peaceful and relaxing.You are away from the hub bub but still close enough to Wisconsin Dells to enjoy that area.

It was nice to be able to sit in the porch and relax, without hearing or seeing traffic. I wish we had had more time to explore the trails around the house, but the mosquitoes were not deterred by bug spray.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for us. The kids loved the bunk beds and being able to play outside. It was so convenient to cook and make meals. The kitchen had everything you could need. The beds were plush and comfortable. Blackout curtains worked great for nap times. Getting to and from the Dells waterparks was a breeze and being able to come back to a quiet cozy cabin was wonderful. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

LOG CABIN NEAR WISCONCIN DELLS

One of the best VRBO Cabin properties we have stayed in.Perfect host detailed instructions on check-in and checkout attractions and restaurants. Hosts even had a handbook electronically and printed in residence. First time seeing that. We stayed 13 JUL-19 JUL. Temperature wise cabin had an ac and stayed cool. Huge amenity is the washer/dryer. Comfortable sofas and beds. The kitchen and bathroom fully equipped with all you need. Fantastic water pressure. The location is in the middle of a corn field. Pet friendly. Clean. Even has a dog kennel. That is a first. Outside property has several decks. It sits on a huge lot. Hosts are wonderful and quick to respond. We had no issues during our stay. It is about 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and other attractions. Local grocery store nearby and local restaurants. Recommend Magic Show and Lost Canyon Horse Wagon ride. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We are a lover of cabins and own one in JAX FL. When we are looking to go on vacation we search for the area for cabins first. Exceeded expectations. Impressive.

The cabin was absolutely perfect. First off, Joe was very accommodating on the check-in! It is close enough to the Dells but still allowed for a peaceful getaway! The cabin and grounds are very well taken care of...truly enjoyable experience. The cabin had everything we needed! The beds were very comfortable. The large grounds allowed our dogs to run and play as well. The hummingbirds and swings on the porch were a real treat. Clean and comfortable!! We will definitely stay here again if we head back to the area.

Kind owners & clean for a pet friendly (we did not bring a pet). We greatly appreciated the array of movies, books, and games! I was surprised how many my family was interested in! I must have missed it in the listing, but there isn't a dishwasher. We usually wash dishes prior to using anyway, but this time it felt more necessary. (I.E. Cooking utensils in the crock on the counter were covered with a sticky/dust layer with visible pet hairs. When washing dishes, one of our dish cloths had multiple pet hairs in it, etc.) We ended up pre-washing the dish cloths so I could prewash the dishes, then we left the clean dishes in a pile on the island all week so they wouldn't get mixed with the others.Watch out for the deer antlers in the bathroom as a towel hook. My husband is 6'2"/6'3", he turned around after a shower one morning and it got him in the eye. The trail to Fairy Bluff wasn't what we expected. We thought that it would lead to an overlook of pretty landscaping not seen from the house. It is a steep climb through the woods that only overlooks the field in front of the house. We thought the firewood was included. It has a "suggested donation" on it. (Which we appreciate wasn't a hard price, but still a disappointment. We chose not to use it.) Overall, its a cozy place in the country. It was a nice stay. If you are from the country like us, its less impressive but still worth staying. If you're from the city and looking to get away, it would be a great choice.

Just me and the kids

Took my 3 around some areas of WI my parents had taken me to. This is perfect distance from Dells and so much more. The cabin is quiet, Peaceful, well thought out. My kids played guitar and piano so much, the kitchen was so nice to cook in. I booked kinda late, but communication was quick and wonderful so i knew what was happening and the everything had been squared away so quickly and get that relief.. Joe was very nice!I booked Porch swings q dream...

We had a peaceful weekend stay at the Bear's Den. We did some hiking, enjoyed the fireplace, and enjoyed our time together as a family. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and found that it had everything we needed.
