„Beautiful hotel in walking distance to much of Kinsale. We booked a Superior room which was a standard USA style room. It overlooked the garden. Bathroom on the small side. Many steps to different levels but has an elevator. The staff were superior and the restaurant and bar very nice. Walked to Charles Fort (30 minutes) and historical buildings in town. The streets to the fort have a bit of an incline. Had dinner at Man Friday which is more upscale than your pub. Had a drink at Bulman near the ...

„Die Lancester Lodge in Cork war von der Lage perfekt, aber sie haben die Heizung fast dauerhaft abgestellt, was vor allem einmal sehr unangenehm war, als wir so gegen 17.30 Uhr ziemlich nass und ausgefroren zurückgekommen sind und das Zimmer richtig ausgekühlt war. Auf Nachfragen haben sie dann die Heizung (für einige Stunden) angestellt und uns einen zusätzlichen Heizer gebracht, fand ich aber nicht so die feine Art, was ich den netten Damen an der Rezeption auch gesagt hab, Sie können ja gerne ...

„I have stayed at both the cottage and main house before. Minor issue with wifi this time but that was quickly rectified. The unseasonably cold weather during the first few days of our stay made the cottage very chilly until heat was turned on but that's Irish weather. Once weather returned to seasonal norms, there was no further problem. Very comfortable for two people but would be a stretch for any more. Excellent value.“

„First, the good: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the location is really good, just next to the Fitzgerald Park and UCC. The hotel was clean and pleasant, and the bed in my room was big and comfortable. However: I stayed in a single room. These are usually fairly small, but that room was surprisingly tight. There was barely any room to move around, or even to sit next to the small table. In the shower, there was a constant smell of bleach that didn't go away.“

„We didn't get to stay at Clon Ross, but were sent to Oakland B&B across the street. The room was shabby and noisy - from the street, but also from the piping. When other guests used their toilets at night, it made an incredible noise so we couldn't get to sleep much. The "great" breakfast wasn't great at all, toast and thin coffee, no fresh fruit etc...A disappointment considering the price!“

„We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.“

„Modern und trotzdem zum Teil etwas abgelebt. Sehr ringhörig. Im Bad ist das Lavabo zu klein und zu tief aufgehängt und man kann die Hände kaum waschen weil der Abstand vom Wasserhahn zu klein ist. “

„Negativ: kaputte nicht ersetzte Einrichtungsgegenstände (Spiegel, Bügel, Kleiderstange, WC-Brille, Leuchtmittel fehlt...)--> Renovierung notwendig. Nur vier Stühle für eine Belegung von max 6 Personen Viel zu kleines Waschbecken. Wer sich hier hier ohne Sauerrei waschen kann ist ein Artist. Schlüssel nicht in Schlüsselbox sondern im nicht abgesperrtem Appartment.“
