« This location cannot be beat. And as a bird, wildlife and nature lover I liked that the back yard is a wildlife sanctuary. My yard at home has this designation also. Plenty of room for all of us and we had a wonderful week. Doug and Rose were always spot on in their replies. Very good managment.Thanks, Jackie »

« We had a group of nine (7 adults and 2 kids) and we had plenty of space. The house was extremely clean. We didn’t use the kitchen much besides coffee in the morning, but it seemed well stocked if you need to cook. The view from the house is unbeatable. Couple of suggestions: the fire pit could use a few more chairs. The house is so large to only have four. We had enough bath towels for each bed, but more hand towels would be nice. And the marshmallows are a nice touch, but you still have to go...

« This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended! »
