« This compact little house was ideal for our recent stay. 3 adults and 2 children. Beds were super comfortable with nice quality linen supplied. Every eventuality was catered for e.g. several pedestal fans available, washing machine, BBQ, plenty of crockery, utensils etc as well as some condiments, wraps, detergent, insect sprays. Bathroom is equipped with shampoo, liquid soap, toilet paper, towels, face washers, mat. Board games were available. Downstairs laundry as well as a toilet, bikes...

« Parking was very limited and at times had to walk a fair bit. Only had parking on-site for small vehicles. Accommodation a little tired but clean. Close to Kings Beach Tavern. All in all, adequate for the time we needed to spend in Caloundra. »

The furkids have their own area outside for... you know what etc. and then a tremendous, big paddock to run in with us. There are caretakers next door, who are gorgeous, friendly people. « We had a great stay at ‘the beach shack’. The house was exactly as described and check in was simple with Martin being an excellent host. It is surprisingly large and the beds were comfortable. The house had all the little extras to make a stay simple and seamless ( toiletries, basic pantry items and some bikes). Location was fantastic and the pricing was very fair. Would definitely recommend! »

« This property is in an ideal location with great access to the beach, cafe and walking tracks, ideal back yard for a small dog, our only negatives were the onsuite sinks did not drain properly, can easily be fixed, and we found the furniture a little dated and uncomfortable had to use the single seats for good support while watching tv. »

« Such a lovely spot only a few minutes outside Maleny, just past the Showgrounds. You enter down a bit of a hidden driveway, the property sits on 2 acres of gardens - we had the whole ground floor which included 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 seating areas inside, dining area, kitchen and laundry. Outside and in the gardens there are so many places to sit and just enjoy the ambience. King Ludwigs German restaurant is only a 5 minute drive, on the same road. - We did dinner and went back the next day...

« Everything was disappointing. Rooms look and feel like a depressing 80 year old couple's appartment in the 1970s. Walls and windows are paperthin in this very cheap building, so expect waking up with the birds from the backstreet alley in the morning. Nothing was on par with a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. This classification should absolutely reevaluated since it's a shame for real 4-stars to be compared to such a cheap and ugly place. »
