  • Location doesn't get any better than this! Just a short 5 minute walk gets you to the lifts at the newly remodeled Canyon Lodge. This 2 bedroom + loft, 3 bathroom is perfect for a large family, or group of friends, and sleeps up to 9 people. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal after a long day on Mammoth Mountain, and enjoy the cozy living room with a pull out sofa sleeper. The condo has 3 full bathrooms so plenty of hot showers for everyone. The master bedroom features a Queen bed, private balcony, flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a King bed, flat screen TV, also with private en-suite bathroom, and the loft features a bunk bed with Twin on top and Double on bottom with its own lounge area with TV, couch, and XBOX 360 with two bring your games! Enjoy all the comforts of home with free WiFi! Complex has on-site swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, game room with ping pong and pool table, and lounge area with flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and kitchenette. This unit is not pet friendly. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. Our stay in December

We had fun staying there. Beds were big, comfortable and great! We wished check in and check out process was more convenient with key less entry to the property. After checking out our plan was to ski & snowboard but we had to go to the office to drop off keys.

I was bamboozled! Place looked bigger and nicer in pictures. Ad mentioned 3 bedroom 3 baths and it really was 2 bedrooms and loft. I could have paid the same price in Snow Creek for a better unit. Carpet was dirty, couches stained and dirty, bed linens stained, the grill was a small tortilla size electric grill, would not rent this place again.

OK Townhome / Near Perfect Location

Two Primary bedrooms are small, but did their job. Third bedroom is a loft (semi-private). Kitchen is very small and the placement of the cabinetry is confusion. Patio is useless. Would stay here again, but for a fraction of what I paid. Needs to be renovated. Management was very helpful with the check-in process and with answering any and all questions.

UNIQUE BLIZZARD MADE OUTDOOR PARKING DIFFICULT

Loved the unit and the amenities, however because of a very unusual BLIZZARD, the outdoor parking shrunk to hold very few cars and a large amount of time went into digging out our car (and really no place to move the snow to). If I ever book a trip during a BLIZZARD, I will get underground indoor parking. Location was wonderful, old bandaids on the shower, old floss picks on the toilet. Could have been a bit cleaner but overall it was fantastic!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is nice but the overall cleanliness and management of the property were poor. The sofa couch had stained sheets and mattress covers so we had people sleeping on the couch. We had issues with the toilet and maintenance showed up unannounced and left our property unlocked while we were on the mountain.

Nice location, but condo needs update!

We loved being walking distance from Canyon Lodge and slopes. However, the condo badly needs an update. The stove was barely functioning (only 1/4 plates was heating up), the living area has too little light, internet connection was mostly unavailable, at times very slow and spotty. The kitchen was poorly equipped and rooms and bathrooms are quite run down. The complex's common areas are dysfunctional (most games are broken, unavailable and/or damaged). Spa was not open/functioning.

I took Lysol wipes and upon wiping down stair rails they were Black dirty. This place in my opinion does not meet The standards for CDC guidelines

As previously communicated, my compensation is justified because of material non compliance of #94 to descriptions posted on your online listing, photos (). Defects of #94 was not disclosed and noted. #94 was missing essential basic conditions as advertised and should be fully functional. Thru incorrect, false advertisement and uncaring customer service my family & I were induced and lured to rent #94, suffering disappointment, inconvenience and increased physical hardship to us seniors with multiple health conditions and handicaps.Of course the muliple problems of #94 negatively impacted the enjoyment and time of our long awaited family gathering. This occasion was to finally memorize and celebrate the life and death of my son Marc Fields. Marc died in October 2020 and my family's final goodbye to Marc was long delayed due to covid. Instead of enjoying all of our family time together, much of our precious time was involved in #94 problems and limitations with the associated discomforts and hardships.

Nightmare at the cabins

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we pulled up to this condo, we thought it was a mistake. Amongst other things, was no siding on the building, the roof was not finished, and no railings on the balconies. The garage was used to varnish siding during the day and then closed up at night for storage creating a potentially explosive environment. Definitely not a safe place. While the interior has some nice features, construction quality was poor. This was described as minor seasonal maintenance. The city inspector as well as construction foreman agreed it should not have been inhabited. While some of things may have since been completed, no question that the building was exposed to the elements for a long period of time Heat + moisture = black mold. Additionally smoking was tolerated and along with fumes from the garage allergy prone guests need to beware. To make matters worse, it cost me additional money to get moved out of this unsafe space where one could walk out on an unprotected balcony and fall 3 stories. Owners of this unit appear to not have any regard for the safety and comfort of guests who unknowingly rent these condos. In over 40 years of renting in Mammoth this was definitely the worst experience. Potential renters beware. There are units that are much better and have better locations.

Needs Work and Cleaning

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We experienced a lot of issues with the condo. We were a party of 6, and were there August 2020, living with the threat of COVID. We planned to fix our own meals but quickly found the stove to be useless. Of the 4 burners, one night I was down to one. Although we’d try to fix they’d fall apart again. And the oven was solid grease, had never been cleaned. The carpet was filthy, we all had to wear socks, which were black from the grease/dirt in the carpet by the end of day. The master bdrm towel rack fell down when touched and the curtain rack fell when trying to close. Several window screens had substantial holes in them making it impossible to keep open at night to get fresh air-VERY uncomfortable in the middle of summer! I understand condos rentals were close to 100% booked this summer but for you have to pause to make them liveable, especially at the high price paid. I will not be staying here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place did not reflect the pictures. The carpet was dirty and the place was not thoroughly clean. Upon arrival there was a dead bird on the loft balcony, which scared my kids. The place is not kid safe because the railing to the stairs are wide and not up to code. Also, there was a window up on the loft that overlooks the living room that a child could easily fall through. This rental claimed to be a kid friendly place, unless you want your child to be injured.There was a huge crack on one of the closets in the downstairs bedroom that a mouse could go through. The stairs had a crack and the railing was loose. The mud room was not completely clean and they just swept the dirt and dust to a corner. The only part that was remodeled was the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. Unnecessary, furniture in the bedrooms such as the white chest and tall dresser.
