We have rented vacation properties the last 9 summers in Mammoth. We've never paid so much and been so disappointed in a property. First, the Good: great location (except for backing up to busy Minaret Rd); great pool and spa area; easy, free parking; a good amount of space, and the bathroom on the main level is a nice bonus. The kitchen was well-stocked and had a good supply of paper products, dishwasher pods, and trash bags. The grounds are lovely with many colorful flowerbeds, shade trees, and nice grass areas.The Bad: not cleaned thoroughly-- kitchen floor very dirty, discovered because the refrigerator kept leaking water and had to be mopped up with towels; a bag of Cheetos was left in a loft dresser drawer, a juice box and ping pong ball were left under the couch, and it appears no furniture is ever moved to clean under; some towels have holes; king mattress needs replacing; when using the washer or shower, there was no water pressure anywhere else in the condo; no screen door on the balcony slider and another screen missing off a window upstairs so we couldn't open them to let the upstairs cool off and no fans or AC; neither bedroom TV worked because they didn't have cable boxes (every input tried indicated No Signal); internet/WiFi almost non-existent. When I contacted the management company, they responded that they had never had a complaint before about either, but I read several complaints in previous reviews of the property. Now for the Ugly (dangerous): there were exposed wires coming out of openings in the walls that should have been covered by outlet plates. One metal outlet on the floor in the dining area was protruding more than a 1/2 inch above the floor, causing injury more than once as we tripped on it. I will provide photos of these issues upon request. Most of these issues are easy fixes that the owner/management have failed to address. It appears that profits are far more important to them than guest comfort and safety
