  • This pet-friendly, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Silver Bear condo is conveniently

    located within walking distance to the base of Canyon Lodge, the ski slopes

    and the Village Gondola. Upon arrival, there is an assigned indoor parking

    space in the heated garage and one additional parking space outside. There is

    elevator access to the unit and luggage racks available to make unloading the

    car a breeze.



    Upon entering the condo you will notice an open floorplan. The living area

    faces out towards a corner of large windows and is flooded with an abundance

    of natural light. Relax on the sectional sofa and enjoy the cozy gas

    fireplace. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ample counter

    space and is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking a

    wonderful meal without having to leave the premises. The six-person dining

    room table and kitchen counter bar complete the open and inclusive floor plan.

    For your convenience, the condo has a private stackable washer and dryer.



    The master bedroom features a Queen bed, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, lounge

    chair, and en-suite full bathroom with double vanity and tub/shower combo. The

    second bedroom boasts two double beds, wall-mounted flat screen TV, and has

    access to a full bathroom that can be locked off to either be shared or en-

    suite, also with a double vanity and tub/shower combo. Lastly, a big plus is

    that you can bring your beloved dog along with you, as the unit is pet

    friendly.



    Silver Bear is in a great location. In winter, it's an easy 5 min walk up

    Lakeview Blvd to Canyon Lodge for chairlift access to the slopes or the free

    Gondola to Mammoth Village and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Canyon

    Lodge also has a full-service sports shop and retail plus dining and apres

    ski. The bus stop for the Blue Line shuttle and year-round Night Trolley is

    very close by which can take you to the slopes or town. The shuttle and

    Village Gondola run from mid-December to mid-April when Canyon Lodge is open.

    In Summer, the Lakes area for water sports, biking and hiking are only minutes

    driving as is the Sierra Star golf course and downtown Mammoth. The Silver

    Bear common area has an recreation room to enjoy with a lounge with a Foosball

    table, fireplace and reading area, as well as showers. There is a year round

    sauna, covered Jacuzzi, outdoor Jacuzzi, communal gas BBQ grill area and in

    Summer a small plunge pool and fire pit. Enjoy a heated underground and

    parking garage for 1 car (garage clearance is 7' 2") with interior hallways

    and accessible elevator access to your unit on the 2nd floor. All guests

    receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy

    facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility,

    yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This Mammoth condo sleeps a maximum

    of 6 people, and is pet friendly (one dog allowed, second dog upon approval

    only). Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required

    than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options.

Exceeded our expectations. Location is great. Stay here if you have a dog. Room for improvement would be upgrade master bedroom with a king sized bed and fix the front door lock (consider keyless entry). Would stay here again!

Great Location

Great spot to stay! It is a short walk to Canyon lodge, and the living room windows gave us a great view of the snow. More than one pot and pan would have been very helpful, especially when cooking for a group. Other than that, we enjoyed the rental.

This condo was very clean and in good condition. It does need a new fry pan and could use tongs and a couple of bar-b-q tools. The bar-b-q outside was great!

Beautiful Condo

The condo was very pretty. The furniture in the living area was also very comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to cook. The two beds in the one room are a little tight. I wouldn’t recommend this unit for more than 4 people.

Great location

We enjoyed this condo and would stay here again. We were here during the crazy storms so we cooked all of our meals here. It wasn't the most stocked kitchen so we had to be creative. No hot pads, one dishtowel, one small baking dish; it was kind of bare minimum. Never the less we would stay again.

No air conditioning, beds are fine, no cold water in shower

When we arrived the elevator was not working. We had to carry our large ice chest up 2 flights of stairs. The shower in the first bathroom had no cold water. We had to take showers with hot water. The air conditioner did not work.

Overall it is a great location, nice place and the elevator is a life saver. The kitchen was actually pretty well stocked (previous reviews complained about that) so that must have been corrected. My one big complaint is that the gas fireplace would not light. I tried calling the Mammoth Sierra Res office but the phone tree went in circles.

Saved our trip as half of our group had to work from the condo so wifi was essential and they couldn't have come if it wasn't working.

Winter get away

Overall this rental was a great place to stay. The lay out is comfortable for our adult family of 5. It was very clean and comfortable with a warming gas fireplace. Large bright windows that let in gorgeous sunrises! The bedrooms were large. The second bedroom with two full sized beds that were comfortable however there is an older queen in the master that sinks in the middle. Fingers crossed next visit will be a king beds - bathrooms also large with nicely appointed fixtures and water pressure. Do time your showers as we only were able to 2 maybe a short third in the evenings before the hot water ran out. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances but sparely equipped to cook. It lacked many of the essentials for cooking. So bring along your favorite frying pan, slow cooker or anything else to make that favorite meals. We gave it a great rating as the overall comfort out weighed the minor inconviences

Lovely rental with tons of space!

This place is underrated! It's really a lovely space with tons of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The living room is a bright and cozy space - couches are comfy and the fireplace is lovely. The bedrooms are dark, quiet and comfortable. The bathrooms are also enormous with tons of storage space. The parking is also very convenient in an underground lot that must be heated because it was always so warm. And it's a very short walk to the elevator and the unit itself from the car. My suggestions are very minor – it would be nice to have a dresser in the second bedroom as there was no where to put clothing except the nightstand. Both closets should be cleaned out of the extraneous and unwanted pillows and other things. In the mornings the noise from the unit above us was loud enough to wake us up from them simply walking around but luckily we were getting up around the same time as them so it wasn't a huge deal. Note that it's a solid 10 min walk to Canyon. And uphill for part of the way both coming & going. My husband would just drop us off with his equipment and then run the car back and walk over. It's VERY easy to get in and out of the garage at Silver Bear so this was a great option for us and did not take too long. This is a great condo overall – don't hesitate to book it.

Great location, condo needs some love

Just stayed here with my husband and daughter for a weekend. First off, you can't beat the location. Easy walk to the lift. Parking is easy. Booking and house instructions/precheck in instructions are thorough. Got late check out which was appreciated. Condo has the basics but it's missing any special touches you'd have if this was managed by an individual. If the owner spent just a small amount of money it would go from okay to "I'd stay here again for sure". Toilet paper is thin and rough, towels are small and poor quality, just two standard pillows per bed (everyone should get two pillows! Very easy and cheap to fix this.). TV was old and small. I tried to watch but it seemed to only have a few channels. Didn't see instructions for it anywhere. Comforter and other bedding shoved in closet, probably due to Covid, but best to house these items elsewhere. All in all, the condo was sufficient for a quick stay but I wouldn't stay here for any longer than that without the comforts mentioned above.

Summer getaway

Reserved two places for family get together and was pleasantly surprised. Property was clean and check in/check out was easy. Garage parking and elevator was great. No A/C so was a little hot but opened windows. Had a large family with kids upstairs so was a little noisy but calmed down at night. Overall was a good experience and would recommend in the future.
