Location was great but not the first impression you want to make
We were excited to stay here for the location…close to the village and a hot tub over looking the golf coarse, what’s not to like? Unfortunately, that initial excitement was lost shortly upon arriving to the property.
As the old saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. That first impression we got was a ladder placed in the center of the garage, empty cardboard box place at the center of the entry way, the grill still had the remains of the last mean, cobwebs dangling from the living room lights, patio were covered in a few days worth of pollen and debris. We were quick to get past these details and decided to head for the hot tub only to find out it was set at 85 degrees. Upon calling the management team to find out if the spa was broken, we were told it is set to 85 to save energy and it would be warm in 12hrs!!
I’m generally not one to post reviews, however I felt my expectations were very fair in this situation. Expectations that were set early on when I paid $972 in additional fees on top of the normal 2 night stay, this essentially doubled the cost of the rental.
