Danke für nichts.
Das Zimmer sah sehr mitgenommen und runtergewirtschaftet aus. Die Dusche dreckig, schimmlig. Für eine Nacht nen günstigen Preis oke. Mehr nicht. Bettlaken zerissen. Keine Duschtücher.

The hotel is old but clean the service is great but the area arount is nosiy and if you with family not a preferably place to go out at night.

In the Hart of Manama
the Hotel is quite comparing with the other Hotels in the area. it has no Dancing or disco witch make your resident quite and without noicy nights. the Manager looks personally for your comfort and services. i recomend it for people who like nice quite and warmly atmosfare.

Good location in the market near harbor and municipal bus to airport. No towels, no water, no kettle, no glasses, no fridge. Only one socket working. Feels like 10$/night, not 35$. Cheaper to book this one on expedia then on the desk

A great location near Bab al Bahrain and the souq, the hotel has maybe seen better days but for the price it was good value. Issues with wi-fi and the TV were quickly fixed

Stinky - had to leave
I couldn’t stay at this hotel due to the musty old stench of cigarettes. It was unclear if they had a single room that was non-smoking. It seemed to be optional. However, even if it had been a while since a smoker, the drapes, bedding and wallpaper reeked of it. :( They attempted to give me another room that was “very clean” which meant the freshly chemically cleaned floors were now masking the musky smokey smell of the room. The man at the desk was very kind and arranged for me to stay at a sister hotel - The Sea Shell Hotel - which was much cleaner over all. However, the room was still musty but at least did not reek of smoke. No windows, so no access to fresh air. This was the most expensive private room I’ve paid for in my 6+ months of travel and was the least nice.

Awal inner Souk
Awal is situated in the heart of the souk. It is an older gracious style of hotel but very solid with a faded charm. It represents excellent value for money and I would return in a heartbeat.

Great location for seeing the local Bahraini life.
The hotel is in a very crowded area very close to the Manama souk. Initially we found it very hard to find it in our rental car bcs of arriving at early am and all the one way streets. The hotel could provide info as to how to get to the front door from the airport. That said the parking arrangements are good - managed by the hotel and secure. The room facilities were basic but very comfortable and clean. Everything we asked for came quickly and with a smile. The fridge and A/C were excellent. Pvt balcony for smoking. Large room and clean well appointed bathroom. Bathroom issues were water pressure and temperature - needs fixing. But it is 2 minutes from Bab el Bahrain and the Manama souk. I would stay here again.

Good value for money budget hotel
The staff were great but the hotel a little tired. The location is nosy at night but really interesting to walk around. Felt safe wandering alone, plenty of places to eat and the hotel has it's own carpark which was a real benefit as on street parking is really tough to find a space.

hotel entrace steet itself can put you off.
if you can stand cockroaches and flies, it is okay. Great service, front desk manager was helpful, changed room to sixth floor, but still condition was not really good. Budget wise also may not be the right price. Hotel across the road, International Hotel (five stars) was charging BHD 33 and Awal Hotel charged me BHD 22. Better to pay more and have comfortable stay. I wouldn't recommend price wise and cleanliness wise. I booked for single room and was charged for double.

Near all the places you have wanted to go. The restaurant, shops and nightlife are all walking distance from the hotel. A great value indeed

All good but one thing
Everything was pretty good for the price except my friend slept under the sheets and got a rash from bed bugs, i was safe cuz i slept on top. If they just get rid of those then i couldnt ask for more.

Horrible!
We had booked a double-bed room which was not available on the day we checked-in, so they joined 2 twin beds to make it a double-bed! While we were waiting for the room to be ready, a drunk beggar walked in to the reception asking for money. I wonder what was the security doing? How could this man simply walk-in? We had to tell the receptionist to call the security, who at first paid no attention to us and just ignored the beggar too. He only called the security when we raised our voice louder than the new year's music going on. We also had to FIGHT to get the "free internet service" which was a part of our deal. There was NO FREE PARKING which was included in the charges. The room was not clean. The bathroom had water leakages. Will never ever go to this hotel again.

our trip
While there are many hotels in Manama Bahrain, very few are online. Given few choices we decided to book this hotel. Firstly, finding it was really tough. Took us over an hour. The staff are very to the point and do not really care about customer service. However, they were kind enough to give us an early check-in at about 9am when we arrived at the hotel. The room was very very large but all the contents of the room are very dated. Our room was facing the street and it was noisy - but didn't stop us from sleeping. We did get woken up though - with the garbage trucks taking out the garbage, etc. Location is fantastic - heart of the city.

Состояние номера старое, санузел требует ремонта, сантехнику пора давно менять. На каждого гостя полагается только одно(!) полотенце. Кровати без наматрасников - простыня прямо на скользком синтетическом матрасе. Кондиционер работает исправно. Сейф не работал в принципе - сломан и нет батареек. Wi-Fi работал неплохо. Имеется трансфер до аэропорта за 5 BHD.

Séjour d'une nuit près d'un quartier typique et animé de Manama. Correct pour le prix mais : L’hôtel indique avoir un parking mais il était complet. J'ai donc dépensé de l'argent en plus pour la garer. La chambre n'est pas très grande et la climatisation fait du bruit.

L'hôtel est très bien situé proche des souks. Le ville est très peu favorable aux piétons de sorte qu'il vaut mieux être dans ce quartier du centre. Je n'ai pas eu de problème de bruit.
