The house is gorgeous. The location is perfect with magnificent views. It is peaceful and quiet. It is maintained and cleaned to the very highest levels. The house wants for nothing. The village is easily walkable and has everything you might need including fresh bread every day. Can’t recommend it enough.

Best villa in town

This is the best property in Vinisce, and definitely in the top tier of villas in Croatia. The views at the bay are unobstructed. The place is tastefully designed and decorated. + great pool + great sea access + canoe, paddle boards The only downside is the narrow access road. It takes some getting used to. On the up side, you really have no reason to navigate it more than twice - the shops are a 5 min bike ride away, and there are no attractions in Croatia worth visiting if you are staying in such a nice place. We'll definitely come back next year.

Gorgeous, well-equipped villa

Villa Amore is an amazing property. Everything in the house was excellent quality and felt very high-end, from the bedding to linens to furniture. The sea is just across the road where you have your own private dock, and the pool area was lovely. There is a beautiful hearth in the living room, which felt very cozy when we had some stormy days. The kitchen is super well-equipped, and I even made soup one night with an immersion blender! There are some very nice touches like olive oil, nespresso pods, salt and pepper, and wood for the barbecue which made us very comfortable. It was very clean, plus the cleaner comes every day to make the beds and clean the bathrooms. Keep in mind the property is remote, at the end of a narrow road just next to the water. The village is also tiny. This was OK for us, but you definitely need a car and to feel comfortable on the winding roads. Karin was an excellent communicator and quickly replied to any questions. On the flipside, our check-in experience was not good. We waited over 20 minutes in the rain with a hungry baby for the concierge to meet us and let us into the property. We had called him before arriving so he knew our timing, so this was quite frustrating and not a great start. He also didn’t reply to any of our messages throughout the entire week stay, so I had to reach out to the owner directly. She was very helpful, but this was a little bit annoying. Overall, this property is of a very high standard with lots of lovely touches in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

A wonderful, relaxing holiday in a fantastic villa and location

We were a party of 5 adults staying at Villa Amore for 2 weeks in September 2019. We would like to thank Karin, Marino, Ivana and the whole team for a wonderful holiday. The villa was immaculate, spotless, very comfortable and very well equipped (except for a lack of a teapot, but that's something we have got used to not having in European holiday homes!). The pool was lovely and the opportunity to swim in such calm, clean, safe seawater right by the villa was such a delight. Transfers to and from Split airport worked very well from Goran's company. We did not hire a car as the village was such a pleasant and easy walk, but we got to know Damir and his taxi pretty well for visits to Trogir, Sibenik, and the breathtaking Krka Falls. His travel office is in the village centre, and we had a fantastic all-day boat trip visiting 3 islands with a whole mackerel each for lunch. We had Marino and Ivana to cook a wonderful Croatian meal at the villa one night, and we enjoyed the local restaurants and cooking for ourselves. The different spaces to sit and relax at the villa worked very well for our party, and the views over the sea were spectacular, with always something to watch. The pedalo and bikes were fun. This was without doubt one of the best, most relaxing and comfortable holidays we have had. The weather was very kind to us, and the very friendly Vinisce residents and visitors even kinder. We loved every minute and would love to return in future. Thank you everyone.

Magical setting on the Adriatic sea for a large family ages 5-68

The host and team quickly introduced us to every opportunity to see the surrounding area, but for the most part we chose to stay at the incredible villa, enjoying the sea, swim deck, and pool. The kitchen and outdoor barbeque allowed us to cook ourselves (stop at Kaufland in Trogir for most groceries, and take the bikes to the local markets and wharf for local fruit, fish, and last minute needs). A local shop had adult and child snorkel gear that we used extensively in the sea and pool - we watched an octopus hunting a few mornings! We had the team prepare dinner for us one night, a wonderful experience of local flavors. We utilized the bread service most days. The villa's architecture is wonderful, accommodating 3 generations of our large family in great comfort. The host even prepared some fishing poles for our children to use. We dream of visiting again!

Everything you need for a perfect vacation

We love Vinisce and especially this property. Our family stayed next door for 10 days back in 2016 and loved it so much we decided to return for two weeks in 2018 and rent two adjacent villas. The location is a dream - Vinisce is off the beaten path so tourist crowds are non-existent but a 10 minute drive brings you to the main coastal road. We roamed the local area by car (Krka, Sibenik, Split, Olive Groves, Klis, etc) and by boat (Trogir, Marina, Rogoznica, Primosten, Solta, Blue Lagoon, Brac, Hvar) and by the end of the two weeks, were friendly with a number of locals in town. The villa is luxurious but comfortable. It has everything you need if you want to cook and stay home and access to great restaurants if you want to go out. We spent many hours enjoying the view on the balcony, hanging out by the pool, and lounging on the sundeck and dock by the water, using the bikes and kayaks and rental boats from Pika in town. Our group ranged in ages from 5 to 75 and the house accommodated everybody's needs. The service from the team is terrific. They are immediately responsive and helpful and took great care of us. It was nice to see they were the same people as 2016 and it was like returning to see old friends. It was really special to be there during part of Croatia's run to the World Cup finals - we just wish we could be there for the final match and participate in the electric atmosphere. Perfect family property. Very well equipped & well run by the staff with lots of water based activities yet quiet & peaceful. Highly recommend Marino the private chef - a truly fantastic feast for our birthday guest!

Perfect, perfect in every way!

This lovely villa, beautifully appointed and situated, was so comfortable that we rarely strayed away. We were either in the pool, or in the beach cabana, or in the sea, or on the deep balcony eating, drinking, laughing. Only the delicious fish at the local tavernas -- a stroll along the water's edge away tempted us out of the fabulous lair.

We had high expectations and Villa Amore exceeded them!

From the moment of our arrival to the packing of our luggage to leave, our experiences at Villa Amore were exceptional. Never having been to Croatia before - Karin provided quick responses and suggestions to facilitate travel and make this a trip of wonderful memories for our group of 3 couples. Marino was there to greet us and we thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to learn more about our temporary home and Vinišće from him during his regular checks on the place. He was a great resource and the Croatian meal he prepared for us on our last night was outstanding. We would recommend this treat to any future guests ...but have it earlier in your stay as the amount of food was incredible. The location of Villa Amore is idealyc, at the end of a very narrow paved road right on the coast. Lots of stairs, but that, we learned is typical . It was a little more remote than what we had thought - but turned out perfect once we settled into a more relaxed way of life. The restaurants in the village were within easy walking distance and the fresh fish was wonderful. The markets ( small convenience stores) were pretty well stocked, but we did find that shopping at the larger grocery stores in Marina, Trogir or wherever the day took you, provided greater variety - very fresh! When lounging at Villa Amore the pool was amazing, warm even in early October. Marino found us life jackets for playing in the Adriatic. The water was warm ( we are from Canada), but you do need to wear water shoes for the rocks and the slippery entry into the water. A couple of us slipped and sported scratches and bruises for our stay - so lesson learned. We would have appreciated the bikes being in better repair as only one was functional for very short rides. The only issue we found with the villa itself was the BBQ/grill on the deck. The smoke from the charcoal grill did not ventilate well up the chimney so we had to make sure the doors and windows were all sealed to avoid having smoke enter the home. Not a big issue. In summary, we all highly recommend Villa Amore as a wonderful home away from home. We would give it a 9.5 out of 10 as it was wonderful. Thanks to Karin, Marino and the team that cleaned the home every day.

Allt överträffade våra förväntningar. Väl mottagna vid ankomst. Bekvämt och trevligt inrett. Vi saknade ingenting. Härligt med "egen" plats vid havet (Svårt att ta sig upp och ned i vattnet, väldigt höga steg och halt.)Damcykeln är trasig, Skrindan har punktering och kaffebryggaren har nog givit upp för länge sedan. Fantastisk beliggenhed

Villa Amore levede til fulde op til vores forventninger - og de var store! Fantastisk beliggenhed, lækker indretning, hyggelig stemning og super dejligt poolområde. Hertil kommer badebroen med solsenge og egen fortøjningsbøje. Vi kan anbefale at leje en båd i et par dage for at tage en tur rundt på øerne i nærområdet. Servicepersonalet var både søde og dygtige, og Marin var meget hjælpsom med dette og hint.

Gem of a find! Cannot recommend enough

This was the perfect house for our annual gathering. It's so amazingly set up and the owners clearly have an eye for the finer touches. Our particular highlights include daily kayaks in the water, snorkelling in the clear blue sea and evening BBQ on the terrace. You could sleep for a thousand years in the beds and we loved the bed beside the pool for poolside cheeky afternoon naps. We had the most wonderful meal beside the boats on the sea front in the village. Three fresh fish were grilled with simple vegetables and delightful Croatian white wine. The locals were amazing and so welcoming. A real memory. The house was a short drive to split and we went for a day to explore. Quite a hectic place but a wonderful maze of old cobbled streets and history. All in all? We cannot recommend it enough and are all ready talking about returning! Thank you! Waterfront Luxury

Great villa with space for three toddlers and 4 adults. Great activities on your doorstep. Do recommend you try all the recommendations in the guest book. Worth a read. Had a wonderful stay, pool a little chilly even in late Sept, but still a great feature. Shall certainly look to return in the future.
